Chapter 17

" You brought her here? " Chandler asked looking behind me to see Riana pacing around the room. " Where else could I have brought her? " I asked Chandler leaning into him until we were chest to chest where I wrapped my arms around him, I turned my head to look up into his eyes " Please, "  He sighed, wrapping his arms around me, pulling me closer to him where his Earthly smell engulfed me. " I don't trust her, but she can stay here for a bit, " He ran his fingers through my hair before we pulled apart to face Riana who was watching us in our little moment. Chandler, with his blank face as always stepped towards her " My housekeeper, Helen, " He pointed towards the foyer where Helen and four other members of the house staff were standing, " Will get you situated, " and with that, Helen was already fussing over Riana as they took towards the stairs. Leaning on one of the side pieces I turned to Chandler, " And what about me? Where am I going to stay, " The corner of his lips lifted into a smirk as he gave me a once over before motioning for me to follow him to the stairs. We walked through the halls before we were at the double doors of the master bedroom which caused me to raise my eyebrow at him, " I thought we were going to my room? " He smiled at me. " We are, " He said opening the doors allowing me to enter first, his room looked the same, abstract paintings hung on his white wall, his black bedsheets matching the curtains which currently obstructed my view of the bustling city. I walked over to the couch situated in front of the bed placing my bag on the soft cushions before walking towards the curtains pulling them apart to gain a view of the city and it wasn't soon before I felt Chandler's presence behind me causing me to turn facing him. It was in that moment that I had finally taken the time to realize how close we were and also the clear height difference between us as I stared into his eyes as he did with me, his right hand lifted to cup my left cheek. " You know, the view was a deal-breaker for me, " He said stroking his thumb across my cheek though I wasn't paying much attention, his eyes had drawn me in and I couldn't seem to pay attention to anything else.  " It must've been, " I replied senselessly drinking in his rough and hard gaze. I unconsciously pushed myself further into him pushing our faces closer together. Slowly, he leaned down, capturing my lips in one quick movement. I closed my eyes quickly responding as my hand on instinct went to his hair as I pulled myself closer to him, the warmth he was emitting buzzing against my body as goosebumps rose onto my skin adding to the intensity of the kiss. His hand went to the back of my head, stopping it from banging on the glass as we moved closer to it, he was rough, but I liked it, this was different from any other kiss I had ever had, no, it wasn't loving, it was more intense and dominating as he was fully in control, me, allowing him to be as in that moment I had submitted myself to him. I was in pure bliss which was a bit weird since it was just a kiss but it had felt as if my body had been lit on fire and in that very moment, any feeling of pleasure was trumped by this. We soon pulled apart me panting while his breathing seemed to be at the same pace as before. As soon as I had caught my breath I was leaning back into him as we took on another kiss, this one softer than the first as he was being more gentle. He put his hand under my thighs lifting me allowing me to wrap my legs around his waist as we deepened the kiss, our tongues slipping past each other in an attempt to discover the hidden parts of both our mouths.  We broke apart for the second part as I wrapped my arms around his shoulders the both of us staring deeply into each other's eyes before I rested my head over my harm on his shoulder which he took as an opportunity to rub my lower back. " Can we go onto the balcony?" I asked wanting nothing more thank to bask in the city's glory in his company. " Sure, I just need to grab something first, " He gently placed me on my feet leaning down to peck my forehead before heading towards the door giving me time to take a shower and get myself out of the uncomfortable pyjama set I currently had on as Riana and I barely had any time to make it out of the house. By the time I was finished Chandler was already on the balcony leaning on the railing so, I slipped through the glass doors moving to wrap my hands around his waist, " What do we have here Mr. Windsor? " I asked curiously eyeing the bottle in his hand which he raised allowing me to have a look. " Non-alcoholic? " I asked bewildered by his choice of wine. " You're eighteen, have you forgotten? " He asked staring down at my form which was slightly bent around him in order to see the bottle. " I know, but no one has to know, " I said snuggling up to him. " I'm not going to illegally feed you alcoholic wine, " He shifted our positions in order to plant a kiss to my temple, " Plus, alcohol isn't good for your system, " He finished. He led me to the chairs that were set out, a table in between, hosting two wine glasses, chandler popped the bottle filling both of our glasses. " How are you feeling? " He asked staring out into the night. " A bit shaken up from what I had to escape from, " I said, though I seen nothing too explicit, just the thought of what could have happened to me if I had not wakened up when I did and Riana hadn't snatched me when I did had me in a bit of fear. He leaned over putting his glass down before cupping my cheek turning me to face him " I just want you to be safe, I want you to stay here for a while, " He swiped his thumb back and forth looking me directly in my eyes making me shiver a bit. " I would love that, but Mason is still there, " I said averting along with my head my eyes " I left him there and I know I shouldn't be feeling this way about it because he's probably behind all of this but he's still my brother, " I sighed. " Hey, " Chandler turned my face back towards him " You have a right to feel that way, he's your brother, I wouldn't expect anything different from you, " He said before leaning over to kiss my cheek. " I want to find out what was really happening, " I said bringing the glass to my lips. " Well, you know who to ask, " he replied hinting towards Riana. " I know, " I turned to meet his gaze once again " I feel like you know more than you're willing to tell me, " I said. " Well, I can't deny, " He said and that was one thing I loved about him, he avoided lying to me at all costs and I could always count on him to be truthful and when he lied to me I would always know it was something serious. " Do what you need to do, " I intertwined our fingers together smiling at him " Just don't be too impulsive, " I joked to which he chuckled. In this way, Chandler and I were polar opposites, Chandler relied on strategy and organization, he was one of those people to have a contingency plan for their contingency plan while I, on the other hand, was too impulsive for my own good as it oftentimes proved to be more of a disadvantage. Chandler was the calmer and more patient one between us as he often time and time again kept me out of trouble and though I would never openly say it, I missed him more than I would like to admit over the two and a half years he was abroad. " Don't worry, we have it under control, " He said just as I let out a short yawn. The we, I assumed to be him and my father, I knew not of the covenant they had between the both of them but I couldn't think anything good of it so I shut those thoughts down almost immediately. " You seem to be tired, I'll take you in, " He said before coming to pick me up and lay me on the soft bed. " Sweet dreams, " He whispered before planting a soft kiss to my forehead.
