My jaw dropped, eyes widening at what Cole had said. Why would he say that to his uncle?
Roman shifted slightly, as if being affected by those words, his fist tightened as both of them gazed at themselves intensely.
“Hits home?” Cole continued, his maniac laughter cut through the air. “Someone who can't keep someone he loves shouldn't even get to keep the company.”
“Shut the hell up,” Roman said, his voice filled with rage as he grabbed Cole by the collar and landed his fist on Cole's jaw again. “You have no right to talk about something you don't know.”
