  AVERY   “Aaaaah!” a loud and fearful scream slipped out of my mouth as I turned to face the person who spoke.   I had thought there wasn't anyone in the house. Who was this strange man? How did he enter here?   His face was sharply defined, with high cheekbones and cold, assessing eyes that always seemed to look down on others.
