It's been a week and a few days since I arrived in India for the medical conference and had to stay back because Roman had specifically asked for my help but before that I had to check Danny in the hospital.
“How is he, doctor?” I asked the doctor in charge of treating Danny.
“Before now, his health has improved greatly but he stopped responding to treatment after his guardian stopped visiting,”the doctor explained.
“What happened to his guardian? The hospital is in the process of discharging him if a guardian doesn't show up.”
“Can I sign as his guardian for now? The Hawthorne’s group sent me here,” I asked the receptionist who was kind of being suspicious.
