CHAPTER 13 Avery My breath hitched as his grip tightened for a second, his jaw clenched, his gaze dropping briefly to where his hand held my towel in place then back to my face, dark and unreadable. His brows furrowed, "Avery?" He said, his deep voice threading with quiet concern, betraying the chill in his voice as his gaze locked on mine. "Roman...." I called, and my throat went dry. Shit!
