Chapter 4

Keith’s POV

“Come on guys, you need to be faster!” Mr. Derrick, who was the coach shouted.

One of the guys from my team passed the ball to me and I dribbled through some of the players and aimed the shot towards the basket.

The coach blew his whistle and we assembled in the middle of the court.

“The tournament is in a months’ time. We need to do better than this. Jason you need to know how tackle without foul playing, and you Keith work more on your aim.” He said looking intently at me.

I nodded my head while taking a sip from my water bottle.

“You are dismissed and tomorrow come for practice on time, Okay?” his voice echoed through the court.

“Okay Coach” we replied in unison.

In as much as Yale was known for its prowess in academics, sports was taken as seriously too. The school had many sports activities but particularly basketball was the most famous one.

I had been playing in the school’s basketball team, which was referred to as blue whales since I was a freshman. My love for basketball had grown over time and so did my skills.

Now in my senior year, I had just recently been conferred as the best basketball player of the year. This had come with a lot of privileges including free tickets to huge basketball games and well of course a lot of hot girls flocking around me.

I particularly enjoyed the attention and flattery I got, I was the guy everyone wanted to be with.

“Hey dude, are you coming over tonight?” Jason asked as we picked our bags and headed towards the locker room.

Jason and I had been friends and classmates since we were freshmen. We attended all the parties together and always hung out with the prettiest girls together.

“No man, I don’t think so. I am still having a bit of after effect from last week’s party” I said hoping he wouldn’t push further.

“Come on, there is going to be a lot of sexy ladies” he continued giving me a shove on the shoulder.

“Okay, maybe I will swing by” I said changing my mind at the mention of girls.

“Cool, see you then” Jason said as he headed for the door.

I picked my keys from the locker and headed out. I needed to go home; take a shower and think if I would attend Jason’s party that night.

I had not reached the parking lot, when I heard a voice behind me.

“Hey baby!!”

I turned around and watched her walk towards me. Her blonde hair swinging as her six inch heeled shoes made a rhythmic sound against the tiles.

“Hi” I answered leaning in for an embrace.

“Uh, careful don’t touch my hair I just styled it.”

Typical Nicole.

Nicole Curvy and I had dated for a little more than a year now.

She was one of the hottest girls in school with a really great sense of fashion. Me and her had long being termed as the best couple in school and were always on the limelight. Nicole sure as hell enjoyed the spotlight.

“Iam going to Jason’s house tonight, he has a party or something of the sort wanna come?” I asked her.

“I don’t think so. Iam supposed to meet up with the girls tonight.” She answered looking at her phone.

“Oh okay, I guess I will have to go alone then.” I said pretending to be disappointed.

“Come on darling, you know I would love to come with you, I just can’t today.”

“It’s okay, I’ll see you tomorrow” I said giving her a quick peck on the forehead.

“Do not look at another girl the party”

“No I won’t” I laughed, and ambled towards my car.

Loud music was blasting from the speakers as I walked into the backyard of Jason’s house.

People were all over standing in small groups while drinking from party cups. In another corner others were dancing and everyone seemed to be having a good time.

I walked towards the table with drinks and poured myself beer in a cup.

“Hey man, you are here!” Jason shouted, as he staggered towards me. Jason was the ultimate party person and always got drunk before everyone else.

“Yes, I just came in a few minutes ago” I said as I steadied him preventing him from stumbling on the table.

“Where is Nicole?”

“She couldn’t make it”

“So sad. Anyway there are so many hot girls tonight” Jason said drunkenly amid hiccups.

“Let us go get them” I said tagging Jason along into the house.

On one corner in the house sat a group of girls who were giggling while looking at us. I walked briskly towards them a smirk on my face.

“Hello ladies”

“Hi Keith” they answered in unison all of them smiling at me.

I liked the effect I had on girls.

Feeling even more confident, I implored, “is there room for one more person?”

They almost immediately created space for me at the center of the couch and I sat feeling like an Alpha male.

After flattering with the group of girls for a while, one particular hot brunette caught my attention. She was pretty and her body was perfectly shaped. She wore a short red dress which exposed her fine long legs.

I winked at her and she smiled back. I raised my eyebrows in a signal before walking to the kitchen. Soon enough, I saw her walking in after me.

“Hi sexy” I smiled at her as she walked towards me. This was nothing unusual; I was used to having my way with girls.

“Hi” she replied smiling shyly.

“Would you like a drink?” I asked fixing her hair behind her ear.

“Yeah”

I poured her wine and handed it to her making sure to touch her hands as I did that.

She seemed to notice what I did and licked her lips suggestively.

“You know what would taste better in your mouth right now other than that wine?” I asked moving closer to her.

“What?” she played along, clearly drunk.

“Me” I said as I grabbed her by the waist and kissed her deeply.

She placed her hand on my neck and kissed me back with as much vigor. I hoisted her up and placed her on the kitchen counter. My hands found their way up her dress to her thighs. I caressed her thighs gently as my fingers continued going further into her dress.

A soft moan escaped her mouth as I kissed her neck, and I smiled.

“Keith stop, I think Iam going to…” she said trying to push me off before vomit came out gushing from her mouth.

“What the f**k” I demanded pushing her off me.

“Sorry I think I had too much to drink.”

“Argh, you soiled my jacket” I said taking off the jacket, clearly disgusted and walked out.
