Cory had shown Evelyn a picture of the hotel where the presentation would be on the computer in her phone. It looked pretty fancy, so Evelyn thought wearing the dress she had arrived in would be fitting. Besides, it might help to jar Tommy’s memory about her. After all, it had been a long time. For him, anyway.
Getting dressed, she tried to figure out what she was going to say to him. Would they even be able to get close enough to him to talk? Or would it be enough for him to see her across the room to recognize her?
