The clock on the wall showed 11:17 PM. The rest of the building was completely silent. Only the soft hum of the air conditioning and the occasional click of Lila’s keyboard broke the quiet.
Victoria leaned back in her chair, watching Lila with half-lidded eyes. The younger woman had removed her blazer earlier, and her white blouse now clung slightly to her curves from the long hours. Victoria could see the outline of Lila’s bra and the way her breasts rose and fell with each nervous breath.
“Come here, Lila,” Victoria said suddenly, her voice low and smooth.
Lila looked up, surprised. She saved her document and walked around the desk until she stood beside Victoria’s chair. Her hands fidgeted with the hem of her skirt.
