His Only Cheerleader

Chapter 4

3rd person's POV

Morning came, Kaylin is the first one who woke up. She looked at her phone and found out its seven in the morning. Their class starts at 9 so they still have time to prepare.

Kaylin tries to wake up Kristin but she is a heavy sleeper so she tried waking Jane up. Eventually, she woke up and they wake Katie so that she can cook breakfast for them.

At last, Kristin woke up because of the yummy smell. Katie was cooking pancakes.

Jane, Kristin, and Kaylin already finished taking a bath. When they are eating, Katie took a bath.

"Hey, guys. James texted me a while ago that he will pick us all." Jane said while eating her pancakes.

"Alright. That's great. We won't be late." Kristin said. "Katie babe! Are you finish? We are almost doooooone!!" Kaylin yelled so that Katie can hear her. But they only heard water flowing from the bathroom.

The three of them only shrugged. After some time, Katie already finished taking a bath and was wearing her clothes for school. They are just waiting for James to fetch them while waiting for him, Kaylin gets her phone and earbuds. She put it on and listen to music. After a while, James arrived and they go to university.

Kaylin's POV

We already arrived at school. As usual, a lot of eyes are on us again.  

"JayJay! thank you for fetching us." I genuinely thank him and smiled at him.

"Of course, anything for you guys. Also, I wanted to see my baby early in the morning," He said while hugging and smiling at Jane.

I really admire the relationship my friends have with their special someone. I hope I can find someone who will value, respect, and love me.

"Oh, I almost forgot. I have to get my book from my locker. I will catch up to you guys later," I said slowly walking towards the lockers. "Are you sure Kaye? I can go with you if you want," Kristin said with a hint of concern found in her voice.

"It's okay Tin, thanks anyway. I have to go now. See you later okay?" I bid farewell to them. I was looking for something from my bag when suddenly I collided with someone.

3rd Person's POV

As Kaylin is walking, she didn't realize that she was nearly approaching the most handsome man alive as she was busy checking her backpack for some important files.

She was brought back to reality when the floor hit her bum and the person he collided with speaks.

"Oh s**t! I'm sorry Kaylin, I was busy checking my phone and I didn't see you there. It was clumsy of me," Ace said and gives Kaylin his hand to stand up.

"It's okay. I didn't pay attention to where I was walking."  Kaylin said and laughs a little while Ace was mesmerized by the view he has right now. 

"Hello? Ace? Are you okay?" Kaylin asked him confused about the state of the well-built, hot and handsome daddy in front of her.

Ace was brought back to reality and just smiled at Kaylin. He's still holding Kaylin's hand and she didn't mind that Ace is still holding it.

As the bell rings, they let go of the hands of each other but felt the loss of warmth. It was a signal that school starts.  

Kaylin gets her bag and Ace helps her to put it on. She thanks him and Ace just answered her with a simple no problem. 

Ace found this as an opportunity to talk to her so he asked Kaylin.

"What class do you have today Kaye?" Ace asked her while standing beside her. Kaylin thinks for a while and answered him.

"I have literature today," she answered. Ace took her hand and walks towards the door deciding that it would be a boring class. "Where are we going, Cee?" Ace's heart melted from the nickname Kaylin made for him.

"We are skipping a class, Flower,"  Ace said with a grin plastered on his face. Kaylin was a bit confused but soon realized that he was dragged by none other than the oh-so-gorgeous man.

"Wait, is this a date Mr. Ace Lee?" Kaylin asked him firmly. Ace looks back at her to find an intimidating face of her but he finds it cute because he looks like an angry tiger.

"Yes. This can be a date, Flower." Ace said making Kaylin a bit flustered.

Ace and Kaylin arrived at the Cafe called Aroma Mocha Cakes and Pastries. Kaylin was mesmerized because of the aesthetic ambiance of the place. Ace admired Kaylin's beauty that compromises the surroundings. He never really admired someone but now, he can say that he never saw someone this beautiful and ethereal.

Ace brought Kaylin to the booth and ordered food.

"Kaye, what do you want to eat?" Ace asks Kaylin. "I just want to eat ice cream and pancakes with the strawberry milkshake as the drink," Kaylin answered him. Ace noticed how Kaylin's eyes glimmered when she mentioned the foods. Ace found it cute, he finds it cute with Kaylin.

He went to the counter and ordered the food. When he returned,  Kaylin an only see the food that she ordered so she asked him.

"Cee, why is it only my food? Don't you want to eat?" Kaylin asked him. 

"Naah. I'm not hungry," Ace said. while he put Kaylin's food in front of her. Kaylin starts eating it not minding Ace who is watching her fondly. Ace didn't mind how Kaylin acts when she is eating, he finds it adorable.

*After some hours*

"Thank you for treating me,  Cee. I enjoyed it very much," Kaylin said while walking back to the university. 

"It was nothing Flower and I hope there will be next time?" Ace asked. "Of course. There will be," Kaylin said and a smile is visible on her face.

"I will take you to our second date and there will be a surprise. I hope you will like it though,"  Ace said. Kaylin nods hoping it will be as good as what they did today.

"See you then, Cee," Kaylin said as she bid farewell to the older and proceeds to the changing room to change for her practice uniform.

As soon as Kaylin was walking towards her teammates, Kristin spotted her and run towards her.

"Where were you, young lady?" Kristin asked her a little bit angry.

"I went out with Ace to a cafe," she said. Katie and Jane approach them. They squealed at the information Kaylin just told them.

"Tell us the details!!" Jane shouted excitedly.

"Alright! Alright! I will tell you the details but guys, I think I am in love."  Kaylin said to her three best friends dreamily.

"Let me guess, it's Ace right?" Katie asked her. Kaylin just nods and blush is visible across her cheeks. "He was just so gentleman and handsome and sweet and I don't know he was just so caring with me," Kaylin said happiness can be heard in her voice.

"I am happy for you TaeTae. I just hope what happened before won't happen again."  Jane said. "Me too Jaja. I hope so too." Kaylin said.

"Alright! Enough with the drama. You have to tell us the details okay? But for now, let's continue practicing the routines." Kristin said. With that, they jogged to the other side of the field where their teammates are waiting for them.
