The symbol appeared at the clock tower at midnight. Marcus had been unable to sleep, haunted by dreams of broken mirrors and shattered reflections. He'd climbed the stairs to the tower, hoping for peace, for clarity. Instead, he found the symbol. It was different from the others. It pulsed with a light that seemed to shift and change, never settling on a single form.
