Chapter 003

Some days have passed since the finding of my father's secrets Mr bob comes to school every day saying he is my bodyguard I have only thought of that scarecrow as crazy every time I try to feel magic to try to cast spells I feel burning hot and he says that the monsters spotted in real life videos photos and blogs are real, the monsters are seen because of the weakening of the barrier but as it weakens the monster my come out and cause problems sometimes annihilated by warriors if present or suppressed in a barrier by spell casters and that after feeling the magic present in us we will have something called sprit object just like wands he said it will choose us and it will be something important in our life like a first birthday gift a pen gifted by your father your favorite necklace and much more. Just after getting this important piece of information, my mom called me for a family reunion when my father was still at home we used to go on a trip to scary places sometimes after he left we have stopped doing such things now that my sister has arrived my mom planned on taking us on a two-day trip to a forest with wendigo if it was before a few days I would have been happy but now that I can see monsters I was scared yet still I agreed to go my mom called Joshua's mom to ask permission for him to come with us he said no but I insisted I was thrilled on that decision because every time we go on a scary trip Joshua never comes but today he will experience the fear that I experience every time Joshua has been my best friend from a very young age their family has always invited us to dinners trips and much more we did the same it was a horrifying thought but we were friends we were always playing with each other.

In the morning we left for the woods when we reached it was almost evening I was just hoping the wendigo was inside the barrier we started camping we set our tents after that we set the fireplace up and started telling each other scary stories about the wendigo it was great when the light was out we all went to bed I really wished I had cast a protective barrier around us but I really couldn't perform any magic even though I have been training a lot it was nice sleeping like this it was so calm I fell asleep it was about 4 o'clock when I heard a sound I thought it was just the sound of the trees so I slept but couldn't sleep because the thought occurred to me that it may be the wendigo 

The wendigo is a monster that possesses a person and makes them eat on their own kind I woke up Joshua and Mr bob and went out to explore they said it was just the trees but I didn't stop when I went and looked behind a bush I saw a rabbit they both said I was just to scared then I that myself I looked at the rabbit and called it bunny what are you doing here it growled at me I thought it was normal and tried to touch it suddenly its eyes turned red it tried to bite me I screamed run we all started to run and suddenly it started to grow big that's when I realised growl in rabbit means to kill you I have heard the phrase dying of cuteness I guess this is it I asked Joshua this is the rabbit you mentioned and you both said it was cute see Joshua said oh I'm sorry who would have thought the wendigo was inside it I asked Mr Bob why the wendigo is still alive he said maybe a warrior was not around so the community of the gifted made a spell caster to make a barrier usually a monster has more of its kind maybe it's like that who knows now is not the time to be asking questions its time to be running okay I was so focused on his words that I didn't realise what was in front of me I tripped over a rock and fell down I was scared I closed my eyes as the rabbit pounced on me, but I was not dead I saw a girl with long black hair and eyes casting a protection spell on me I did not die soon after that a little boy came and killed the wendigo with a long sword that's when I realized that they are gifted like me as this happened I realise the time has gone by and it's now like six o'clock in the morning.
