As I went inside the house, my nightmare began my grandparents came and hugged me they said ' Nickolas my cute little lamb' I have hated my grandparents for a long time they pinched my face until it started to hurt after they stopped my mom said ' Happy' I said 'yay grandparents cool' my face was not happy but I managed a smile, my grandmother took a spoonful of something yellow and pushed it in my mouth I ate it was like poison she said 'pineapple jam great' even though it tasted like poison with and heavy heart and a mouthful of pineapple-flavored poison said ' great tastes like poison I mean pineapple' when I said that I was sure my taste buds were not listening to me it surely said poison my luck today they did not hear what I said. My grandmother pointed out a lot of jars and said that they were some types of jams and picked my grandfather interrupted her and said I have bought two tickets to a camping trip it's just you and me we can camp all day you know catch some rabbits and take photos of deer's was a bit terrified by that idea last time I went camping I was nearly eaten by a cute and possessed by wendigo rabbit I said I am feeling tired so I am gonna get some sleep and you know grandma maybe tomorrow I'll eat those jams and grandpa I'll come to the trip with you so goodnight' my mom shouted ' dinner ' I said ' not hungry'
as I went up the stairs I stopped at a place where they will not see me and listened to my grandparents conversation my mom was sad her face was gloomy I was bit sad seeing that she said ' he's been like this since his death he goes out with his friends and returns home late he never speaks to me and Rachel she is my only hope whenever she comes home she will try to cheer him up but he never changes ' my grandma put her hand on other's shoulder and said ' he will cure ' it was sad to see then I went to my bet and took out Mr. bob he asked me ' what's the problem kiddo speak with your grandparents properly respect them' I said 'I hate them my maternal grandparents abandoned my father when they heard he was an explorer and my paternal grandparents they are too sweet I'm not used to getting love from grandparents’ he said ‘ I think you are judging the book by its cover’ I said maybe I'm and we should check that book, I don't think I can go to the basement now’ Mr. bob said ‘ we will check it out in the morning get some sleep’
In the morning I got up and went to school I had a blueberry jammed bread I realized that some of my grandmother’s jams might be good, today I had a goal and it was to repair my relationship with my grandparents so that I could make my mother happy at school I told Lilith and Joshua what had happened yesterday after I finished school I took Joshua and Lilith to my house so that we can check our father’s diary but we had an obstacle it was grandparents when we came in my grandmother had made us taste different types of jams some were good she asked us how was it we said ‘ tasty’ we had a long talk I could not afford to lose any more of my time speaking to my grandmother about friends and school I needed to read that book I started to speak up’ grandma we are having a science project so we are going to the basement’ then my grandma asked ‘ are you allowed to go in there ’ I was nervous even my grandma has not gone into the basement my father wanted no one to go in there I wanted to act quickly and wisely otherwise I might not be able to go into the basement until they leave and if they see it I don't know what will happen but it won't be nice before I could speak Joshua spoke up’ he said we were so curious about this mystery room and wanted to explore it and found out that there was nothing in it so we use it as our secret base’ I was bit shocked by his answer but it was effective we played along my grandma said okay have fun’
We went into the basement and turned pages and there it was a page named phoenix it had nothing about the organization but it was about the bird I asked ' is the bird real' everyone asked ' what bird ' I said ' the phoenix' then Lilith began ' yes it is and it was not seen by anyone except the time wizard' I was surprised I asked ' if the phoenix was real why had no one tried to hunt it and has tried to take its soul it can give one immortality bright' Lilith said ' sure first the bird was not spotted and next it is impossible to kill because it is immortal' oh that makes sense but I still wonder about this time wizard he is everywhere but no has seen him I asked ' what's the time wizard's name' Lilith said' he has lived for so long that they forgot his name' I said ' for real is he some sort of invisible not detectable magician' Joshua said ' judging on the facts yes' that's when I felt something on my foot something soft and furry and tiny I realized it was Oreo how did it come in I saw my grandparents coming Joshua asked ' is this supposed to happen' I said ' No' I stood up and said' grandma and grandpa why are you here she calmly replied ' cookies' my grandpa said ' cool place and what's in those cages your science project' as he finished I knew everything is ruined.
