Chapter 7(Shelly Pov)

Shane...... Shane... Is that him.

No, it can't be him..

No noo nooo.. Get a hold, Shelly.. It's not him.

But he looks the same. Expect he is more built now.

What is he doing here... Am I dreaming? I can't believe after all these years am seeing him again. That too when I least expected. Why is he here?

"Helloooooo kitten, won't you greet your boss baby.. " kitten... The only Shane calls me that. What the... ..

He is the hospital trustee. Does that mean he is king?

" You got it right kitten. Am the one and only king."

What the hell. How come he knows what am saying. Did I say it aloud?

"you did."

He was there standing on all his glory with his stupid smirk. How much I wish to wipe that stupid smirk from his face. He was coming near me. I was rooted to my place. I don't know what to say. Why is he here?

"zoning out when someone talks to you is still with you I think.".

"what you want sir."I intentionally used sir in order to irritate me. I don't want to show any kind of emotions for him. For me, he is just a king who owns this hospital. Nothing much.

"oops.. Am sorry..

I forget to introduce you to my self. My bad. Am Dr Shelly, appointed as a new physician. I didn't know about u, sir. Or else I wouldn't have been here in the first place. You know how much I hate to work with self-obsessed obnoxious people who don't care about others feeling. I think you are here to fire some other innocent soul who went against your dictatorship. Afterall you are full of yourself. Always know when and where to play with others feelings. "

"haha. " I heard a gasp and saw Sr. Mary gasping at me. Kane and Ryan were also there. They too were staring at me as if they have seen a ghost. I think its the first time they have seen someone who badmouths their boss that too on his face. And I was happy about what I said. I was full of rage. My blood was boiling after seeing him here that too as my boss. Am not going to stay here any second more... I have so many things to yell at him. But I don't want to give him the impression that he affects me still. I want to get away from this place as soon as possible. I can't stay here any longer after knowing him as my boss. The only person that I want to get away from is standing in front of me. The one who played with my emotions and crushed my dreams.

I saw Shane staring at me. He was clenching his teeth. I know he is trying to control his anger. Afterall anger is something which is his thing. He was always and I think is short-tempered.

I don't care whoever he is now. Hurting his ego is the only thing I can do before going from this place.

"Out... Everyone output." Shane shouted loud. I saw everyone leaving the opd. I too take it as a sign and was about to leave. When I crossed Shane, he forcefully grabbed my wrist and turn me around. I was pressed against something hard. It didn't take much time for me to realise that my back was pressed against his front. He was gripping my hand forcefully. His other hand go around my neck. I can feel his hot breath fanning my neck. He put his head in my shoulder. He started sniffing me. Is he a dog or what.

"leave me, Shane.. Leave me... Shane leave."

He was not even listening to me. I struggled hard. But he had no intention to let me go.

"Shhh... Kitten... Silent baby... Let me calm down the first baby. U don't know how much I missed u... How much I wanted this."

Shane whispered to my ear. Strange it sounds but where ever my skin is in contact with him I can feel a tingling sensation. I don't know what is happening to me. I started leaning against Shane.

No.. No...I don't want this. He left me.. That too without any explanation. I have to be away from him..with all my force I pushed him hard.

As if getting from a dream Shane stared at me. He was shocked I think.

"you are not leaving this place without my permission."

What the hell.. Who is he to order me around.

"Am your boss kitten... And stop thinking aloud."

What... I cursed myself for thinking stuff loud. But who cares. I don't need anyone's permission to go from here. Even if I want to sneak from here, I will do it.

I raised my one eyebrow and gave Shane a challenging look.

He just smirked at me. He started walking backwards staring at me.

" Run as much as you want a kitten. But in the end, you will only run into me. See where you are now. If you want to run, run. I won't stop you. Because I love to chase and catch what is mine."

He blew a flying kiss at me and winked at me. Shane left after saying all those nonsense stuff. I was rooted to my place.

I only have one thing in my mind. I have to get away from this place as soon as possible........
