He Abducted Me Again

Chapter 3

after coming here everything seems strange to me. The constant feeling of someone watching you was there. I just ignored it as my delusion. But still, I can feel someone's intense gaze on me.

What strange is that I saw wolfie, the big black wolf again today morning standing outside my French window. How come he gets here. God knows. I don't think it will attack me. It's like it was standing there the whole night. Oh God is getting crazy.

Anyway, leave it. I have to get back to work. Today is my first day.

OPD was not that busy. There were only 30 patients. Most of them are old folks, came for a routine check-up. There is Aunt Anna, that's what she wants me to call her, a diabetic, who has crazy fetish towards sweets. A 60-year-old Mr Bennet, who is a hypertensive and like that many. But all are sweet people.

Since its a small place, my arrival was known by everyone. That's what is special about these small towns. News will spread like wildfire.

Sr. Mary came to me " Doctor I think you are free now.  Don will arrange food for you. If you need anything just give him a call. He is staying with his family nearby."

" ok, mary. But I would like to cook also. I want to go to the grocery. Need to buy stuff. And for that, I need my car to come. It will come by today evening I think. Anyway can you suggest me good shops here"

"oh dear, there is Mr Lukes store down the lane. It's a mini supermarket. It's good. You can try there. You will get all kind of stuff there"

"thank you so much sr. Mary. Bybee sees you tomorrow. Tc"

When I went cottage, my food was ready... After having lunch I took a small nap. By evening my car came. All thanks to dad. He arranged it for me through his friend. I can survive with it this one year.

It was evening 4.30. I went for shopping. Mr Lukes supermarket is not pretty big as you see in cities. But it is not that small also. You will get all your necessities there. And if we want anything, you can ask Luke to buy it for you.

I was roaming in the supermarket. But that constant feeling of someone staring at you was still deep down there.

" Hello, beautiful". I turn around to see a guy, quite handsome smiling at me. I think he is in his late 20s. I have no idea who this guy is.

" Hello, do I know you"

"you know me I think, but you haven't seen me."

" but... I don't know..."

" haha haa... It is ok.. We haven't met in person. I saw you talking to Dr Claire. Am Dr Edwin."

Ohh he is Dr Edwin. I thought our paediatrician to be an old guy. Never imagined him to be a young guy. At least I will get someone of my age to have some chat occasionally.

Dr Edwin gives me his hand for a shake. And I happily acknowledged it. But strange or what I heard a growl behind me. When I turn around I found no one. I left Dr Edwin's hand.

" shopping?"

"yuppy"

" over? If so can we go for a coffee.?"

I don't know what to say. Its just a coffee right. Shane was super possessive sometimes. He won't appreciate if I go on coffee with sone random man whom I met in the supermarket. But he is my colleague right. Ohh.. Why am I thinking about Shane? He has nothing for me. Still am thinking whether Shane like it or not. Oh God, I have to move on. Its 3 yrs now.

" earth to shelly. It's just a coffee. Am not asking for any date. Don't worry. Even if I ask, it will be on my style." he winked at me. I heard the growl again. Oh God, what is it? Is Luke having a dog or what?

" okkie. Let's go for it.. I don't know many places here".

"don't worry there is a small cafe nearby. Let's go".

With that, I left from there after collecting my grocery after paying.

And strange or what I can feel someone's burning gaze behind me...
