Chapter 54 Embarrassment

1055 Words

Nadia sat on the couch, her cheeks heating up again as she thought back to Harris giving her a massage. "Honestly, Harris. He knows I'm ticklish, and he still pressed so hard..." She lightly patted her cheeks, trying to calm herself. "Stop. I can't think about it anymore. If I keep this up, I won't be able to fall asleep." She shook off the swirling thoughts, closed her eyes, and tried to settle her mind. Gradually, she drifted into sleep. In the early hours of the morning, Harris returned home to find the living room lights still on. Nadia was curled up, sleeping on the couch. He walked over quietly and looked down at her peaceful face, his gaze soft and warm. Leaning down, he gently picked her up. Nadia stirred slightly in her sleep, instinctively snuggling closer to the warmth.
