Chapter 2 Quite Bold

"There's some trouble... I need to go! I've already booked a room upstairs for you. Just have fun, and I'll find you tomorrow!" Yvonne said hurriedly, dashing out of the private room. Nadia blinked in surprise, then frowned as she glanced at the row of handsome men before breaking into a smile. "I have to say, Yvonne has great taste. Look at their bodies and their looks..." The alcohol made Nadia's eyes glassy, and she swayed unsteadily as she walked past each young man. She handed out the money Yvonne had left, laughing joyfully. "Wow! These young guys are so much easier on the eyes! Jonas! I don't want you anymore! I'm done with you! Burp" Just as Nadia reached out to touch one of the young men's abs, the private room door swung open again. A pair of slightly anxious faces suddenly filled her vision. The man had chiseled features, strikingly handsome, with deep, dark eyes that sparkled with restrained joy at seeing her. But that joy quickly turned cold as he noticed her hand resting on another man's chest, his expression hardening—not directed at her, but at the other men. The young men felt a chill and quickly stepped back, only to see the man turn and grab Nadia's hand. "What? You look a bit familiar! But... you're way more attractive than them!" Nadia said with a silly grin, waving her free hand in front of him, nearly losing her balance but steadied by his grip. As he pulled her closer, the scent of her perfume enveloped him. He adjusted his collar, a hint of irritation creeping into his voice. "Little girl, when did you learn to drink?" "What? You're the little girl!" Nadia pouted, puffing out her chest proudly. "Am I small? Where am I small?" "Tell me! Where exactly am I small? I'm not smaller than that Becky, am I?" Nadia shouted. The man watched her actions, feeling a rush of heat. Realizing they were drawing attention, he frowned and turned coldly to the others. "Get out!" The group sensed the danger and quickly filed out. "Okay, behave. You're not small; I misspoke!" "Now that's more like it!" Nadia nodded, her dazed eyes fixated on him, unconsciously swallowing hard. "You're really good-looking! Much better than that scumbag!" She reached out to touch his face, and whether it was the alcohol or a rising sense of defiance, she stood on her tiptoes and kissed him. The man's pupils dilated, and the warmth of her lips caught him off guard, momentarily short-circuiting his brain. He gently pulled her down. Looking at the flush on her cheeks and the haze in her eyes, he swallowed hard and asked in a low voice, "Do you know what you're doing?" "Yes..." Nadia pouted, then grabbed the money from the table and stuffed it into his arms. "I have money; it's all yours! Just take good care of me!" "What did you say?" The man gritted his teeth, a dangerous aura radiating from him. "Why do you have so many questions?" Nadia flashed a hint of impatience, then suddenly yanked on his collar, pulling him down. As he bent closer, her lips met his again. The heat from their kiss caught the man off guard, and the kiss, though clumsy, shattered his resolve. He shifted from passive to active, running his fingers through her hair. They kissed deeply until Nadia's breathing became rapid, at which point he finally pulled back, looking down at the woman who was now melting in his arms, his eyes filled with warmth. "This was your initiative!" With that, he lifted Nadia effortlessly and strode toward the exit. ***** After a night of passion, Nadia felt utterly exhausted. She groaned, rolled over, and slowly opened her eyes. "Good morning." A deep, magnetic voice came from beside her, making Nadia's eyes widen in shock. When she saw his face, it felt like lightning struck her. "H-Harris...?" "Yes!" As she saw the teasing glimmer in his eyes, memories of last night rushed back, and she felt a wave of embarrassment wash over her. This man, Harris, was the adopted son of the Chung family, and Nadia was the family's granddaughter, which meant she could technically call him "uncle." But when she was eighteen, Harris had been taken away, and she hadn't seen him since. Even after six years, his striking appearance was unmistakable. But she never expected that after a few drinks, she would end up sleeping with someone she had called uncle for so long! "What... what are you doing in Acofield?" Nadia asked awkwardly. "You disappeared suddenly, and your grandfather and uncles have been searching for you! The last place you were seen was Acofield, so I've been here all this time." Nadia had a secret marriage with Jonas, and after losing her memory, she had no friends in this city. After marrying, she mostly stayed in the villa and rarely went out. So for a long time, her family had no news of her. It was only yesterday that she suddenly went out, and Harris's people spotted her on surveillance footage in Acofield, leading them to find her. "Alright, get ready. We need to head back to Olisbert," Harris said, ruffling Nadia's hair. Looking at the handsome yet mature man before her, Nadia couldn't help but recall the wild events of last night, her cheeks flushing. "What are you thinking about?" He teased, leaning closer, making her heart race even faster. This was the man she had secretly crushed on in her teenage years! But before she could find the courage to confess her feelings, Harris had left! "I... I wasn't thinking about anything! Could you turn around? I need to get dressed!" Seeing her awkwardness, Harris couldn't resist teasing her. "You weren't this shy last night. You were quite bold!"
