The witches had found us. More importantly, I now also have to explain all this to my only friends I have. It was now my job to protect them. There are at least 15 of them. Jason came rushing out as soon as he heard the loud explosion.

Omg what’s happening?, asked Riley while definitely panicking like the others. “Go go! Into my room now!!!” Jason shouted and everyone immediately ran into the room. The witches came after us but we managed to lock the door in time. “What the hell is happening. Who are those guys?!”asked Filla. “Is your family like mafia dealers or something”,said Andrew. “Guys i can’t explain everything now. The door won’t hold much longer. We need to go somewhere safe”. Jason then punched the wall hardly and with the help of his super strength, he successfully made a hole big enough for us to fit through and escape. We made it outside and straight ran into the woods. We didn’t know where we were going but we didn’t stop to look back. After running for a long time, we decided to stop and take a break. The witches didn’t manage to follow us. It was almost dark so we made a small fire and everyone sat around it trying to warm themselves up. I knew i had to tell them the truth, might as well do it now. “Guys I know you’re all terrified so keeping the truth from you is not gonna do any good”. “Elyna what’s going on?”,asked Mark. “Ok this is gonna sound crazy but I’m a hybrid, I’m a vampire and a werewolf.” They all started laughing except Mark. “Yeah and I’m a ghost.”, said Riley while laughing. “If you’re gonna lie to us then at least make it believable”, said Andrew. I didn’t expect them to understand. I knew they weren’t gonna believe me, at least I tried telling them. “Hey, can I talk to you alone?”, Mark whispered to me. I nodded. We went a bit further into the woods to talk. “What is it?” “Earlier when you said you’re a hybrid, is it true?” “We’ll yeah but no one seems to believe me”. “Wow i thought you guys were extinct”. “What?!”. He thought we were extinct?? He knows about us? “What do you mean”. “Umm you can’t tell anyone but I’m a witch”, said Mark. “Oh my god, you’re a witch? Those people that were chasing us were also witches” I immediately backed away from him. He saw that I was afraid of him. “No no I’m a good witch.” Still I didn’t trust him. He could be lying. “How can I trust you?” “If I was evil I wouldn’t blow my cover. Trust me I’m not gonna hurt you. When I was a kid my grandma use to tell me stories about how a hybrid saved her life so she cast a spell on them to keep them safe.” “Oh I think your grandma’s talking about my parents. They told me a good witch once helped them.” “See I’m not lying”, said Mark. “Fine but I need to tell Jason about this too”. Mark just nodded. I think he was telling the truth but I still have some doubts. Anyways I told Jason about it and of course he overreacted at first just like I did but then he understood a bit but I could see he still see that he doesn’t trust Mark, I don’t expect him to either. “Oh and also I convinced the others that you weren’t lying”,said Jason. “What? How?” “For one thing, they saw me use my super strength earlier and also I showed them my fangs, so they kinda believe us.” “I should probably tell them that I’m a witch. I’m sure they’re gonna be much more shocked or maybe even upset since I’ve been their friend for years and I lied”,said Mark. We then went back and sat near everyone else. Mark told them that he was a witch. “You gotta be kidding right?”, said Filla. “Wow, what the hell is happening”, said Andrew. “Look guys I’m sorry I lied but I couldn’t tell you guys since it wouldn’t have been safe and you guys would just think i was crazy”,said Mark. No one said anything after that. Everyone was shocked, confused, scared. I then got to thinking. Why didn’t our parents safe us or warn us or at least call us? Then it hit me. What if the witches took them. We need to find them. What if something happens to them? The thought of something happening to them really scared me. The visions, the lady, what if my visions come true. I’m sure my parents are fine but no matter what we need to get to them as soon as possible.
