“Will you take me back home?”
She wanted to go home. I thought she would have wanted to stay with me. Especially after what we just did.
“Y-you want to go home?” I scoffed, there was no way this was happening. She wanted to leave me only after I found her. Was it because I had hurt her too many times? My eyebrows scrunched together in confusion.
“No, stop, I can tell what you’re thinking and that's not it at all. I just wanted to get a few things from my place to bring them here, that's all. I’m not ready to leave yet.”
“Oh thank goodness, I was not ready to let you leave princess.” I walked to her and pulled her to my chest to give her a hug. I couldn’t even begin to describe the joy I felt hearing her say that.
“Besides, I can't keep wearing your shirts forever.”
“I don't know, I think you look great in my shirt.” and she did, she looked beautiful. My shirt barely reached her mid thigh and she looked so small and adorable in my clothes.
“I doubt you want anyone else to see me like this though.” I growled at the thought of any other male looking at what was meant for my eyes only.
“Fine, let's go to your house and get your things. There are some things we need to discuss afterwards.” I kissed the top of her head and pulled back from her to see her looking down, blushing.
I took her hand and led her through the house and out the door. We walked to the side of the house where the twelve car garage was. I watched her as she stared wide-eyed with her mouth wide open.
“Are there all your cars?”
“Yes princess they are.”
“Wow there are breathtaking”
“Thank you. Now which one would you like to take?” She looked up at me with the world's biggest and brightest smile that made my heart melt.
“I get to pick one?” she was practically bouncing where she stood.
“Anyone you want, princess.” She didn’t wait for me to change my mind before she took off towards the cars. She stopped at every other car so excitedly.
“OMG can we take this one?” She was jumping up and down next to a white Hummer H2.
“If that’s the one you want to take then of course.” I said grabbing the keys from off the wall behind the cars. I unlocked the doors and made my way to the driver seat as my princess made her way to the passenger seat. When I opened the driver’s door, I looked across to see my princess with her arms around the seat trying to pull herself up and into the car.
“Do you need any help, princess?” I ask, trying to hold back a laugh.
“N-no I got this.” She is kicking her legs still trying to get in the truck. I can’t keep watching this. I closed the door and walked around to the passenger side. She stopped kicking and now her body was just dangling over the edge while she held onto the seat.
I walk up behind her and put my hands on her hips.“Let me help you princess.” I lift her up into the seat and strap her in with the seat belt. She had a small pout on her lips when I moved to close her door. After I closed it I went back to my seat and got in, I looked over to see that she still had that pout on her lips and her arms crossed looking out the window. “What’s wrong beautiful?”
“I said I had it.” she spat out.
“I’m sorry I just really wanted to help you. I know you could have gotten in without my help” I lied to her. We would have been in the garage forever if she tried getting in on her own. She was still looking out the window with her arms crossed and that pout that I wanted to kiss off her face. I signed and placed my hand on her bare thigh. Which caused her to whip her head around and stare where our skin touched. “I’m sorry, okay, it won't happen again.” I said smiling at her, she was starting to blush a bright red again.
“I-it’s fine. Thank you for h-helping me.” she stuttered. God she was adorable.
I pulled out of the garage with my hand still on her thigh. As we got to the end of the road I slowed the car and turned to her. “ What's your address, princess?”
“Uh I- Think it's that way.” she said pointing to the right. She sniffed the air and said,” Wait no it's that way.” and she pointed to the left.
“Baby girl, do you not know where your house is?”
“I wouldn’t really call it a house. It's more like a den. And it’s in the forest.”
“You live in the forest?”
“No, I live in my new home. Which just so happens to be located in the forest.” she whispered the last part but i still heard it.
“Riiight. Well lead the way then.” As she was giving me directions I started to see some familiar places. We ended up stopping at an old abandoned trail at the edge of the woods. I followed behind her as she led me to her home. I was kinda nervous to see her house. I wondered what it would look like. It was about 20 minutes of walking and talking and she stopped at a familiar dip in the ground.
“We’re here.” She sounded kind of nervous. She was playing with her fingers and making circles in the dirt with her foot.
“Babe there are no houses around here”
“I told you it wasn’t really a house, Enzo” she turned towards me. “I only arrived here a few days ago. I haven’t had time to get a job or find a house. I live in a cave.” Her voice was a little shaky.”Not everyone gets to live in a fancy ass house made of gold and glass, your highness.” she snapped at me. She turned around and started heading towards where I assume her cave home was. It kinda hurt the way she talked to me. I think she might have been a little embarrassed about the fact that she lived in a cave. But I still followed behind her.
We reached a semi flat surface after walking down at an angle for a minute. There were two tunnels and she went down the left one. I followed behind her silently until we reached a staircase type thing.
HOLY s**t! Now I think I know why a few things looked so familiar.
We reached an opening where I could see some lights shining.
“Welcome to my home.” she said, sounding bored. She walked over to the giant hole in the wall and started grabbing stuff off the wall and shoving it into a duffle bag very aggressively. While she did that, not wanting to anger her any further, I stood still and looked around the place. There was no way she was actually living here. This place was amazing.
I walked over to a corner near the pool, that was in the middle of the cave, and bent down looking around the floor. It has to be here somewhere. As I’m still looking at the floor I hear a heavy sigh.
“Lorenzo I’m sorry I didn’t mean to snap at you like that. That wasn’t fair of me. It isn’t your fault I lived here. I shouldn’t have said what I said.” She apologized to me.”What are you doing down there?”
I was going to answer her but I saw something shiny out of the corner of my eye. I leaned forward and reached out towards what was shining. I grabbed it and stood up to get a good look at it. It was still here. After all this time it was still here.
“Unbelievable. ” I said, holding up a silver chain with a silver wolf paw print hanging from it. I turned it over to see the name ‘ ABBY ’ engraved into the back of it with a little heart at the end. I let out a small chuckle. It was still here.
“What is that?” she asked, trying to peek over my shoulder and failing due to her shortness. I turned so she could see it. ”Oh I didn’t even know that was here.”
“I didn’t think I would ever see this again”
“What are you talking about?” She asked, looking at me like I grew another head.
“I used to live here for a while when I was sixteen. I ran away here to get away from the crown. This was given to me right before I ran away. I tossed this over there when I was dragged out of here. I told myself I’d be back for it, but I was never able to come back.” I confessed.
“Y-you used to live here”
“Yea it was always so peaceful here. It was nice not having overbearing parents breathing down your neck all the time.” I smiled to myself at the memories.
“Can I see it?” she asked softly. I gently placed the necklace into her hands.
She smiled down at the front of the necklace. She turned it over and looked up at me like I had Just killed her puppy.
“What's wrong princess?” I ask going to grab her arms. Right before I can touch her she moves back from me.
“Who the f**k is Abby!?”
