Sydney
“Brennan and I will do it.” Henry says finally. Shocked I look at him. He doesn’t meet my gaze. The two get to work picking up Jens body and setting it in the hole that’s already dug. They refill the dirt.
The silence is killing me. How long will this last? Who is behind this? And where is gabby? Finally they’re done. We stand around. Waiting it seems. When my phone pings again.

Very well I wasn’t specific and it is done. Clean up now. You’ve done well.
“That’s it?” Grace finally speaks. “We’re done?”
Nobody answers but Brennan grabs her hand and we make our way to the bathroom.
“Is it you?” Henry snarls behind me at bryce. “Are you doing this?”
“Seriously Henry?” He remarks rolling his eyes.
It’s crossed all of our minds though. Brennan, Grace and I exchange a look.
“What about Jen? Isn’t it gonna look sketchy that she didn’t come back? And where is Gabriella?” Brennan asks taking a hand through his sandy blonde hair.
“Stop asking questions we don’t know the answers too. Why is Sydney getting the messages and not someone else?” Bryce counters and I glare at him. It looks could kill and all that.
“Yes. I’m doing this. Listen we all want you gone so why hurt Jen?” I fire back.
“You’re just upset because-“ but before he finishes Henry punches him. Just like that the bathroom turns into an arena. Brennans trying to pull Henry off but Grace and I just smile.
“They asked you to find the girls and you came alone so you tell me asshole. Who looks guilty!” Henry cries punching him again before Brennan gets ahold of him.
“Okay. Enough!” Grace shouts. “We need answers and though I enjoyed that it’s not the time.”
I have to admit I’m glad I wasn’t the only one that enjoyed Bryce getting his ass kicked however she’s right. It’s not the time. Or the place. This is what that freak wants. They want us to come apart instead of holding together. I look around. Henry’s panting and looks crazed and Bryce looks in shock. Not a look you see to often if he has anything to say about it.
I look at grace and brennan. They’re both whispering to eachother. I arch a brow and grace sighs shaking her head at her brother.
I shrug my shoulders but before anyone else can say anything my phone pings again.
My muscles tense. I don’t even want to look at it. Maybe I don’t need too. Maybe if I don’t it’ll stop. Even I’m not that naïve.
I reach into my coat pocket and take my phone out. Taking my time to unlock it and open the message.
