Chapter Fifty Three Unknown Day
Henry I lean against the tree. This is a terribly stupid idea. I hear foot steps and hold my breath. My hearts beating too loud. Blood rushes in my ears. My first thought is why should we trust Bryce? My second thought is what if he’s in on it too and this is a trap. But then I hear something. He said something. Again I hear Bryce say something but I can’t make out what. Then I hear a door open and I’m confused for a second. I hear him again. Louder. “Move!” And I know he’s not talking to us. “Well well well. Sydney.” My heart stalls. What the hell is she doing? “Let’s finish this Jen.” Syd says. “Let’s.
