"Someone trashed your room," I said again when there was no response from the other side. I frowned and looked down at the phone to check if he had hung up, but the call was still running but he was not saying anything. What if he becomes enraged after learning the truth? What if he wants to take out his rage on me? The thought of what was ahead made me gulp in horror. I was expecting him to start shouting with his fists clenched, but what he said shocked me even more with his new behavior.
"Go to your room and stay there until I come, okay?" I nodded, but when I registered that he couldn't see me, I answered with a small yes.
"Good, take care, and be safe," he said before hanging up the phone. I am confused with his behavior and on the other side I am having a delicious
