I hear a heinous growl but it doesn’t stop me. We won’t stop. I must not look back.

I make it to the city but the witch is gone. I won’t give up.

*It’s okay, Ella. We can check in Vegas. We need to go*

I use my card to pull all my savings using several different several ATMs. I cut the card and toss it. I take a cab to the airport and take the next flight to Vegas.

We start our search for a witch. I find a pack willing to shelter me and I stay as an omega. I know Matthew will be looking for me. I change my name as soon as I landed in Vegas.

“Miss Amber, I have been expecting you. Would you prefer I call you,Ella?“

“Amber. So I guess you know what I am about to ask?”

“ you would like me to severe your mate bond?”

“Yes. Please.”

“I will do so but at a price.”

“What’s the price?”

“Half of your savings. You wont be needing it”

“Just take it.” I shove the cash towards her;$25,000 to be exact.

“Give me your hands, dear.”

I do as she ask. My neck burning and feeling a snap. I feel empty.

“You will feel that way until you find your mark is completely gone.”

“Thank you.”

I hurry out and catch a plane to Georgia. Somewhere he won’t look, hopefully.

With the help of a pack’s OB I delivered a healthy baby boy. I took my son and worked for the pack until I had enough to find us somewhere safe.

Living at my new home in a small town; I met a pack of rogues. We joined forces and they made me their Luna or well Alpha until I find a mate. We started building from the ground up.

We have finally named our new pack. We are now the Half-moon Pack.

I keep holding out hope that I will one day find my second chance mate. My son Mason is now five and deserves to have a loving father. The pack I’m running is doing well. The Pack House is complete and I now have a little over 300 members under my lead. Mason starts kindergarten in the fall. My Gamma and Beta have both found mates and are ruling by my side.

“Mason, you better be getting ready for Ava’s birthday party!” I yell walking towards his room from my office. Ava is Beta Garret’s first born. She’s just turning five. Ava was born to Garret and his first mate,Avery. Avery didn’t survive during a rogue attack.

Giving up her life to shelter Ava.

“Coming, mom!” Mason said hurriedly running out of his room bumping right into me. “ Sorry , mom!”

“It’s okay, sweetheart. Just slow down. Ava is downstairs waiting for you.” With that being said little Mason runs down the stairs and finds Ava in the kitchen waiting to go out to the pool to start her party.

I sit on a lounger near the pool talking to Garret as the kids enjoy the party.

“Ava and Mason are so lucky to be around each other. Just to think they already have a mate and they just don’t realize it yet.”

“Luna, let them be kids. Things will work out.”

We didn’t finish the conversation the pack alarms going off.

He must have felt it to his warriors stopped as well leaving only us. We walked to each other. I smelled the air and its the scent of fresh pine.

*MATE* my wolf screams inside my head.

He pulls me into his chest rips my head to the side marking me and yelling “MINE!”

Our mate bond seals when i mark him back. I feel a rush connecting us and both packs making us one.
