8. Flashback continues..Shuchi Fear

The other side Shuchi was too disturbed after getting the news of Aditi's marriage. She was not sure if it is going to be okay for Aditi or not.. She doesn’t know if her her sister will be able to manage all this. So first she made a call to Aditi who didn't pick her call. Then after thinking for a long time, Shuchi calls Sandhya, Sandhya picks up the phone only after 2 rings.

Shuchi- Hello, did you talk to your father?  

Sandhya- Yes, Shuchi, I had talked to dad about this again and you know what, I asked him about the wedding of Diti again, you know it was not a joke, I mean, I can’t believe it’s really happening.

After listening to Di, Shuchi was shocked and she became silent for a moment.  

Sandhya- Shuchi, hello, hello, you there? Shuchi, are you Listening?  

Shuchi- Yes, I am here, listening. This means that dad has really arranged the wedding of Aditi, that too without consulting anyone, he did not even tell you. It's so strange Di. How can he do this with her? He is still angry with her for the thing that happened because of me, not because of her and still she is facing father’s anger, still she is being punished for the crime she never did. He is angry with her so much that he is.. 

While cutting the point of Shuchi, Sandhya further said- I don't know, Shuchi, I don't understand anything... What has happened to him, why he is behaving like this? Why they are so hurried for this marriage, I do not understand anything.

Shuchi - I know Di, it's all because of me. It's my entire fault. 

Sandhya - Don't blame yourself for all this, you are not at all fault. So, please stop blaming yourself. You know, he was talking so normally that even I feel for a moment that he was never angry with Diti.. it was very strange,it seems as if there was no problem with the thing he is doing. Papa was telling me that it's the right time for Aditi to get married as it's the right age and time for her, if not now, when will we do. Even saying that brother and mother too, like this alliance very much, and I felt very strange to know that he directly said this thing to Aditi. 

Shuchi - Which kind of the boy is this, who does not want to meet his future life partner? Also, without knowing about the boy, his family dad is again going to repeat this mistake. Don't you think? It does not seem strange to you. By the way, did dad say anything about the background of the boy, I mean, who the boy is and what he does.

Sandhya- Don't knows what's going on in Papa's mind. I am unable to understand why he is doing so hastily. By the way, I have not met the boy, but I have definitely met his family, maybe you also remember the one who is known as Dwivedi uncle's family, whose house was near the big market. There were big discussions of his house,not only house, the whole family has been a big topic of discussion in the whole city. Even many times father used to say that those people are so rich, they have a name among the great nobles, but still no one wants to marry their daughter in that family. 

Although, I do not know the whole thing, but everyone says that there was something wrong in their family. No one knows about this that what was wrong with his family. Papa was saying that Dwivedi uncle had brought his son's alliance for you, but his son was younger than you, so that relation couldn't processed but he is 2 or 3 years older than Aditi.

Father was praising the boy and the family of the Diwedi Uncle. Papa was also saying, no, in fact taunting us that the boy is very decent and cultured. He never disobeyed his parents, and so, he said that he is ready to marry the girl selected by his parents. Now only God knows how good and obedient the boy will be. 

Boy and that too who respects and value family culture and tradition, these  words do not match each other, actually these words never fit together, it's like a rare combination, so we should always remind us that if these words are used together, it means there is something suspicious and  its going to be a big scandal. Dad was saying that he is running his own startup company in Gurgaon and is yet to go abroad, so he is ready for marriage. 

After listening to Sandhya's words, Shuchi and Sandhya themselves started laughing loudly and then Shuchi composed herself and said - what about his company, I mean, you know his company or name of the company. Because we can't trust in such things, even a seller of roadside used to say to people that he has his own business. ha ha ha ha 

Well, our Aditi is beautiful di, so if dad tries, then he can search a good alliance for Aditi marriage. But I guess he doesn't want to do that. By the way, the Dwivedi ji you are talking about, as far as I remember, he had only one child, I mean one boy who used to be mostly out of town because of studies. So according to me, It is impossible for a boy who has been out from the beginning to be cultivated. Dude, please explain to dad that he should not be in such a hurry.

Sandhya- I had tried Shuchi, but dad did not listen to me. He silenced me by saying that we won't be able to afford such a great alliance if we try to search groom for Aditi.

Shuchi- Then I am saying it again di, there is for sure something wrong…

Sandhya - What can we do, we don't have any option to stop this drama. If Aditi refuses to marry, then, despite doing nothing, all the blame will go to your head that she is staying with you, so she did it intentionally. 

Shuchi- So what di, It does not mean that we keep watching the spectacle quietly while ruining Aditi's life. We have already seen the spectacle as how they waste my life, very silently and as a result of this, when Aditi raised her voice, Papa mistook Aditi so much that he had never spoken to Aditi since my divorce, and when dad started talking to her after so many days, he attacked directly with the emotional atomic bomb… How could it be done?

Sandhya - - Let's leave now don't think much.

Shuchi - hmm.Maybe you are right.

Shuchi hung up the call after talking to Sandhya and went to her cabin to concentrate on her work. But her only attention was on the words spoken by Sandhya di, so, she was just getting upset thinking of her younger sister and therefore she did not feel like working. 

After thinking a while, she dialed Aditi's number to talk to her. Aditi picks up the phone within a single ring.

Shuchi - Hello, Aditi. 

Aditi - Yes Di, tell me, what happened? Why are you sounding very low?

Shuchi - No, nothing.. I am just fine. Don't worry about me. I wanted to ask if you can come to my office and we can plan a dinner together. 

Aditi is a little shocked hearing Shuchi - Really? I am fine with it. Let's meet at 7 out of your office. What say?

Shuchi - Can you make it a really quick? I was thinking to go now. I mean only if you are fine with it. 

Aditi - But Di, it's only 4.30 pm now. No problem. I'll pick you. I'll wrap up my work in 15 more minutes. 

Shuchi – Okay then, see you in an hour. 

After talking to Shuchi when Aditi hung up the call, she thought to herself - What was wrong with Shuchi di, she was sounding very low. Why? God knows, what happen to her. Need to make it really quick. 

After finishing her work, Aditi leaves for Shuchi's office. When Aditi reached to Shuchi office, Shuchi was waiting for Aditi at the exit gate, after picking her up they went to the mall. Shuchi wandered in the mall for a long time and did a lot of shopping. Aditi never used to do shopping; it was a thing which Aditi hates the most. As Aditi believes, that Shopping is the most useless thing to do. Therefore, shopping for Aditi's portion was often done by Shuchi.

After completing the shopping task, both decided for dinning out. So they went to a restaurant, and order for the dinner. While waiting for the arrival of their order for dinner, Aditi decided to talk to Shuchi. 

Aditi - Shuchi Di, I don't want to go out of the box, so please tell me what is wrong with you? Why I am feeling like you are trying to make your mood and mine as well, whereas I am not in a bad mood at all. Also, I am feeling like something is bothering you. Will you please tell me clearly what's wrong?

Shuchi - Well, you are right. It's again, my fear. My fear regarding marriage and this time it's your marriage. You know, sweetheart, you are my fear. I only have two people whom I counted as my family and that are you and badi di. 

Aditi sighs and said - Di, please don't bother about my marriage. You know very well, that I can handle this matter. You know me, right?

Shuchi - Yeah, I know it. I understand it as well, but my fear, what should I do to sustain myself.

Aditi- You have to trust me, you have to trust on time, Time will heal everything. Please di, don't stress yourself.

After finishing their dinner, they went back to home. 

It was night, but no one was asleep. Sandhya, Shuchi and Aditi, all of them were only busy with waiting for another day to come to a new hope.

Next Day, Aditi Office. 

Aditi was quite calm on reaching the office the next day. This thing was knocking off some colleagues working with her, especially those who were very close to her in the office. Because everyone knew her behavior, Aditi was not one of those who kept calm. She was one of those girls who do not take anyone's permission before laughing and speaking and her arrival would make the whole environment happy.

So, along with Aditi's close friends- Samit & Monika, other colleagues were also very disturbed because of Aditi's weird behavior. So, finally both of her friends went with dare and ask her - hey Drama Queen, what happened to you today, have you taken any vow of silence, so you are quiet?

Aditi trance was broken after hearing her friends as she was busy in her own thought. 

Aditi said to her friends with a fake smile - hey guys, nothing like that, it's just that I thought of giving you all a surprise of silent treatment. 

Listening to Aditi's word, they both immediately took their step back, seeing her friend's reaction Aditi burst into laughter and said - Wait, guys, I was not talking about that kind of silent treatment which we use to get from our senior R.K. Sir. 

Knowing this from Aditi, her friend sighs and said - Thank God, otherwise we would have been dead with thinking that we have one more person other than R.K. Sir whom we all have to bear with her silent treatment. 

They started talking about the silent treatment of R.K. Sir who was their boss, but that guy had a problem of having acidity all the time and so, he used to talk or greet mostly with the noise of fart before he could reply with his own mouth. He used to have this issue even all the time such that almost every person came to know about his problem of farting all the time, so, it was Aditi who had given him a name and it was the silent treatment of R.K. Sir, and so , whenever anyone used to have acidity problem they used to keep saying it or rather say symbolize it as silent treatment.  

Everyone started after hearing about R.K. Sir, once they end up with their laughing session; they decided to visit the canteen as Samit used to be always a hungry hulk.

In Canteen again Aditi was lost in her own thoughts, so Samit asked her about her being upset, on which Aditi said - It's nothing like that, I am fine, nothing special. 

Hearing Samit words, Monika said - What will happened to her, the good part that she doesn't have any boyfriend, so, she won't be having any bickering for that as well like other girls. 

Samit said - Yeah, right. I agree with you Monika, this girl is completely a unique package. I haven't met such a unique piece like her till now.. You are really lucky that you don't have such things like boyfriend, so, you are free from those stupid complications which girls used to have because of this boyfriend thing. 

Aditi - Shut up, Sam, I am not able to understand whether you are taunting me or giving compliments for my personality. 

Samit- of course, it is a compliment. Why would I lie about a thing which is really unique? I have really never seen a personality like you ever before. You are a person with s pure heart, whatever comes in your mind, you never feel shy to say it straight. You never scared of getting scolded from anyone, if something is wrong, then it is wrong, and you always admit it. Even if you have done something wrong, or said something wrong, you always apologize without any fear or being ashamed. Being straight forward person like you, it matters a lot. So, I really never saw someone like you. It's not easy to accept your mistake without any fuss, but you do it. Any boy in our office never tries to make fun of you,. I have also noticed that despite being fearful to you, mostly boys talk about your bold and blunt personality, and they always seek your help when need to take any decision or if they find them self stuck somewhere. Every boy talk to you like if they are talking to the same gender, most of the girls always do back bitching about you because of the same reason of boys being close to you and treat you as their buddy. 

Listening of all the complement given by Samit, Aditi said with a sad smile on her face - You know, there is one more fact which you forgot to mention about me and i.e. That people like to have a friend like me, can bear a sister like me, but no one would want to have a girlfriend or life partner like me.  

Samit - Come on yaar. Don't spoil your mood thinking such bullshit. Okay leave it all, tell me what is bothering you so much, is it your marriage or something else?

Aditi excuses herself and left the place without bothering to answer her friends list of questions. 

Seeing Aditi reaction, both of her friends became tensed for her.
