"I'll be right back, just going to the restroom," Aaron, who was relaxing with two young executives, said as he slipped his phone into his pocket after failing to reach Alicia. It wasn't that the call didn't go through; she just didn't pick up, as if she had silenced her phone. Judging from her lethargic tone earlier in the afternoon, Alicia was probably asleep by now.
