ROSE’S POV
“Is that what you want, Aiden? Do you want to be married to a woman who'll detest the sight of you every waking day? A woman that'll continually wish death upon you? If that's what you want, then I'm your perfect match. I'll be your bride without question”. I said, all in one breath, my palms were sweaty, and my voice was husky.
“You’re going to need more than that speech to get an applause from me” He responded dismissively.
“How long?” I asked as he started to walk away from me.
“How long for what? Aiden stopped and asked in return without looking at me.
“How long is the contract?” I asked again.
“Two years” He responded. This time he turned to look at me.
“What are the rules?”
“They're simple, “ He said, “You’re not allowed in gatherings I'm absent at, you're not allowed to deny our marriage or elaborate the terms of it to anyone”.
He paused for a second.
“Since marriage is bound by law, every other marriage law applies, but in this case, breaching the contract will mean you or Marvel suffers. However, if you persevere to the end of the contract, there might just be a wholesome reward for you “.
“You know, Rosa“ Aiden continued, “This was never meant to be the case. If you had stuck to the plan, all you had to do was adhere to the contract of silence you originally signed, this marriage contract was drafted with your signature as a contingency plan “.
“This is all your fault, always remember that”. He added as he turned to walk away from me again.
I was left in the middle of the long walkway, a few meters to the olympic sized pool close to the back of the house.

Belles Bridal Boutique
ROSE'S POV
“Good morning beautiful ladies” the boutique attendant said as I walked in with Pheebs and Marvel with a low bow and ushered us to the cream and gold sofa.
The boutique was huge, and I could tell the least of the dresses was going to cost me an arm, a leg , one kidney and an entire blood bank if I were to pay for it.
“Bring out dresses with pearls and diamond-like frosting, not too modest and not too slutty”, A thick, sensual voice demanded. I didn't have to turn to know who it was.
“Welcome, “Sir Aiden” , are you that obsessed with me you can't wait till the wedding day to see the dress I picked? ” I said sarcastically.
“Of course, my love, I found myself wondering if I could entrust such heavy duty to you. I'm a gentleman and I like to keep my women stress-free, so I'm here to sweep you off your feet and into the dress of my choice” He responded with heavier sarcasm , with that annoying voice that should never be used in a joke, even though i know he wasn't joking.
He was here to control the one thing I should have the utmost control over, despite “submitting the reins of the wedding to me”, not like I actually cared. I was living in a nightmare.
“Gorgeoussss” Marvel exclaimed at the first dress the attendant brought out. Immediately my eyes popped, and my mouth watered, it was a dream dress.
The top was cross draped and lined with pearls and the skirt was ballsy with a long flowy cape with diamond frosting. I hated Aiden and this wedding, but I loved this dress.
“This is disgustingg!! “ I yelled, “ if that's your best dress , then I'm taking my leave now”. I've never met someone lie so fluently, but I wasn't going to make it easy for “ Mr Control freak”
“Pack up the dress and send me the bill” Aiden said to the attendant and stood up to leave.
“Its better for you to wear, as I won't put on that dress, not at your command or God's”, I snapped with my hands on my hips, ready to take on a fight.
“Okay”, he hissed and walked out of the boutique.
“Okay?? Okayyy?? How can he just say okay??” I was so livid despite Marvel's attempts to calm me down.
I found my legs taking me on a race after him and pulled his shirt. As soon as I caught up to him, I was ready to dish him a severely hot slap but nothing prepared me for what came next.
