James drops the portal sphere, “wait here; before I take you to the other side I want to bring someone to meet you first so that you won't be scared once you get to the other side. Whatever you do, do not pick up the sphere and do not open the door for anyone.”
“Wait,” Katelyn says when James steps through the portal. James is gone for about two minutes before he returns with Zadia.
“Who is this?” Katelyn asks, looking at the young girl.
“Meet Zadia, she is a Kheprian from the planet Khepri,” James says.
“Hi,” Katelyn says nervously.
“Zadia this is Katelyn, she is my baby’s wetnurse. I would like you to show her the truth,” James says.
“Hello, Katelyn. Don’t be afraid, you will understand soon enough,” Zadia says, holding out her hand for Katelyn to take.
