“A new controller has been delivered,” the AI speaks through the VR glasses that James is still wearing.
“Can you wait so that I can get a new controller?” James asks.
“Be quick,” Dale says.
James returned with a new controller. ‘Hope I am not going to regret this,’ he thinks as he follows Dale into the darkness.
James is relieved not to see the faceless and keeps close to Dale.
“Connected to Avatar U3301,” the AI says giving James a fright.
“Dude, relax,” Dale says.
“Where are we going?” James asks, faithfully following Dale.
“To where the action is,” Dale says, the excitement clear in his voice.
‘This guy is nuts,’ James thinks as he starts to regret his decision.
James can see in the distance things exploding and realize that they are heading in that direction.
