“I was wondering if Scarlet was going to breastfeed or not, she didn’t look like the type,” Emily says her eyes still on the sleeping baby.
“If you need help during the night, you know where to find me,” Emily says.
“Don’t you worry, I have it covered, at least for the next six months,” Katelyn says.
“When are you going back to work?” Emce asks, admiring the baby at a distance, never being much of a person that likes kids.
“Tonight,” James says.
“Tonight? Don’t you need sleep?” Katelyn asks as the lift opens to Emce and Emily’s floor.
“I will order food why don’t you two freshen up and join Katelyn and me?” James offers.
“Great, I am too tired to cook in anyways,” Emily says before getting off.
“See you in a bit,” Emce says following his sister.
