CHAPTER FOUR

896 Words
A tangled web of uncertainty arose on the face of Orion, as the shadows were becoming lengthy. He got a little bit worried, but he never let his countenance get noticed by Eloise. At this moment, she is very focused on her moment with Orion as she finds him approved to her liking. Orion has always been a master of his craft, mostly when it comes to what he cherished. He has pretty eyes, a nice physique as he never fails to work out. His attention at this moment has been divided as he got more time for Eloise. Landmark Bay has a different atmosphere at this time. The wind gets soloed just like a piano's tone and the moment seems better for partners who want something more to share. Eloise, from her appearance, wanted more time as she never thought of leaving at the moment. The whole atmosphere seems favorable to her, and she only wants to feel every moment and make it memorable. There are cozy thoughts on Orion's mind as he's trying to navigate a way out of the Landmarks Bay. He approached Eloise with a smile and said…” Oh, I've got some time to call, and I feel we call it a day.” Eloise got her mouth wide, as she slowly turned towards him with a strange look. “Thought this day was made for us here and nothing else intruding this moment?” “Uhmm yeah”, Orion said as he stammered. “I thought the same, but I realized I was lost in emotions, wanting you around” “We have more time and endless moments to share if you don't mind,” Orion said, spreading his hands wide in expression. “It's fine, you're the man and your decision stands”, Eloise said with smiles expressing her happiness. Orion knew for a fact that he wasn't comfortable and needed to catch his breath. The only way out is to leave Landmarks Bay as he can't predict what's going to happen next. Amelia's response made him crazy. As a gentleman, he never wanted to experience another crazy scene, maybe with Eloise, who he prioritized. They had a slow walk towards the garage as they kept the moment alive. From their appearance, it's beautiful and romantic, but the smiles on Orion's face are absolutely fake, though he made them contagious. Immediately, they got into his car and he wheeled off. He had to race in his heart as he never wanted to gamble in this situation again. At the same moment, he's about to leave Landmarks Bay, at the same time as Amelia's arrival. Looking at his front is Amelia driving in. He got cold a little bit, just like an iceberg, as he had to slow down the accelerator. It's really tense at the moment. Orion's feelings were mixed. All he could do was to focus on his wheel as he never wanted Eloise to fish out his deep feelings. They both drove past each other where he clearly saw Amelia, but she wasn't too focused as she was hasty in meeting up her friend Clara. That shows how openly blinded she was on the wheel. Why these purge of emotions and mixed feelings about Orion? A billionaire who has got nothing to lose and has control of his life. Could this show how loyal he's been and just living a random life without regards to his status and personality? Eloise was only filled with excitement from her moments with Orion. It was indeed special for her eyes and smiles say it all. In her thoughts, could this be just a cool guy or a random person with a lovely lifestyle? She's got something interesting and meaningful to rely on. Orion couldn't get himself better while driving as he was anticipating a call from Amelia. She's got to see Clara, who waved at him on his arrival at Landmarks Bay. Thoughts ran through his mind if Clara saw him alongside Eloise and chose to let Amelia know about it. He lost a little focus while at the wheel as Eloise wasn't getting a response from their conversation. “Orion! Orion!! Is everything okay? You're lost on the wheel. She said with a heavy voice. Oh I'm! I'm!! Okay, I'm fine… What are you saying? “You have got mixed feelings and find it difficult to concentrate while on the wheels… what's going on? Oh nothing, I'm just okay. You're acting worried, and I feel something's wrong somewhere maybe you wouldn't love to share. I understand. She looked at him strangely but waved off the reaction. As she knew something was actually wrong somewhere, maybe he got a hectic task to meet up with at home or might have skipped his mind. Incoming call again…while his phone is placed in the space between them. “It's your phone”, Eloise said. “Oh yeah, I know I'm not answering that now I'm on the wheels, you know?” Orion responded. He wasn't just letting the phone ring, but his thoughts got to Amelia, who might have heard he was at Landmarks Bay or calling to know where he was at the moment. The phone kept ringing… Leaving Eloise uncomfortable, as she stretched her hands, picked up the phone with a look to know who was calling.
