Cemil's POV
I woke up with a start, my heart beating crazily in my chest and my body shaking in fright. I tried to remember what I was dreaming about but nothing came to mind. I just knew whatever it was I was dreaming about was very scary. I took deep breaths to calm my heart and once I was calm, I got up and entered the bathroom.
I closed my eyes as hot water cascaded down on me, relaxing my strained muscles. My mind still pondered on the dream but the details were lost to me. I touched my stomach, caressing the visible bump there and my breath hitched. It still stunned me knowing I was pregnant; a baby was growing inside me. Tears ran down my cheeks, accompanied by the hot water as my mind reminded me of the dire situation I was in.
