Alex, the alpha of his pack, knew that he couldn't take on the vampire king and his army alone. He needed help, and the only pack he could turn to was the Thunder Pack. He left the queen of vampires and Freya the witch at his house, off guard, to seek their help.

"Hi, Jenny," Freya said. "These are my friend, Valeria. She is new in town, and need a place to stay for a while."

Over the next few days, they settled into their new lives as humans. They went to explore the city with Jenny, hung out with her friends, and even helped out around the house. Freya used her magic to create fake identities for them, complete with birth certificates and social security numbers.
