Zheng Jin, after hearing Fen Ye's request, couldn't help but laugh inwardly.
It looked like the girl invited him for a much deeper reason than petty revenge after all, and was actually planning to use him as her key to get free reign outside of the sect. Moreover, it was no wonder she was acting all ignorant about the incident back then.
"I'll try, Little Sister Fen, but I don't think that my chances of making Elder Zhang agree would be any better than yours," Zheng Jin affirmed, not promising the girl anything.
"I'm grateful enough that you would do this for me, Elder Brother Zheng," Fen Ye said, smiling. "I only hope that Elder Zhang would agree so that I can enjoy—no...we can enjoy ourselves outside."
