"Have at you!" I yelled as I charged at the Gimli with one quick burst of speed, surprising even Matias who was watching from the side.
For the wrong reasons, unfortunately.
"Don't shout before you charge, you i***t!" Matias lectured. "It makes your attacks predictable, didn't I tell you that already?!"
Well, he's right but I wasn't exactly attacking just yet.
With a grunt, I stopped my dash and ducked just in time to avoid the Gimli's overhead swing. Content on making the Gimli fall for my feint, I scooped up some dirt from the ground and threw it right at the Gimli's ugly face.

"Oh? You're not much of an i***t after all." Matias chuckled.
Blinded by the sand in its eyes, the Gimli swung its long, obscenely-humanoid arms but hit absolutely nothing but the air.
