The sound of sizzling oil filled the entire shack as Zheng Jin laid the fillets of demon beast meat one by one—all seasoned by different spices that he bought from the city. The pleasurable aroma of the different spices combined with the meat's fresh, natural scent poured out, putting a satisfied smile on Zheng Jin's face as he moved his head closer to the crude, makeshift pan and waved a hand towards his nose for a whiff.
