A Very Kind Man

"I just want to say thank you for saving my life and even living some money for me in the hospital. Also to say sorry because I'm the cause why your girlfriend left you. I'm so sorry Mr. Black," I apologized.

"You're welcome and you don't have to say sorry because you're not the true reason why we broke up," Daniel said and a tear flow from his right eyes. He immediately wipe his face. "You don't have to be guilty, it's my girlfriend who cheated me and have other guy. Just forget about it, it already happened and we can't change it anymore," he seriously said.

"That's a relief that you are not angry with me. Thank you so much," I said. "I feel so sad for what happened to you but as you said, it already happened and we won't be able to change those things anymore. I'm so sorry, if only I can do something to help you," I replied.

"It's alright. If you guys have nothing to say anymore, you may leave now," Daniel seriously said.

"Mr. Black, we are truly interested in your restaurant," Jonas said to change the topic.

"That's true but instead of buying it, we have a great offer for you," Johan said.

"What do you mean?" Mr. Black curiously asked.

"We know that your restaurant is at risk now that's why you decided to sell it. We also know that you're a very kind and generous man. You already helped a lot including our bestfriend, Gladilaine," Johan said. "We wanted to help you stand up and your business to grow again without any conditions," he said and smiled to Mr. Black.

"That's a nice offer but I'm sorry, I can't accept it. Miss Velora doesn't owe me anything, you don't have to do this," Daniel said.

"Mr. Black, we only wanted to help you. We know that you don't want to take this help for granted and we know that you have your own principles. But, all of us came into a point of our life that we need someone to lean on," Johan sounds convincing.

"Mr. Black, you are not alone. Even we are not your relatives, you can see us as your friends," Jonas plainly said but it has a big impact to Daniel.

Daniel looked at Jonas carefully and he started to shred. "No one ever told me such thing. All my life I carried all my burdens alone and struggle very hard everyday of my life," he said and it pinches my heart.

I can't stop my tears to flow. "I feel you. Once in my life I feel alone too and even more worst than you. My father hates me so much and very cruel on me," I said. "Daniel, you only need someone to, to help you to stand up again. It's very nice to feel that one day in your life, there are people who can understand you, help you and protect you. We may not always be there for you, but at this point, we are here to help," I sincerely said.

"Thank you so much gentlemen, pretty girl. You made me realize a lot of things and give a new hope to grow my business again," Daniel said and wiped his tears. "I will accept your help in one condition," he said seriously.

"What is it" Johan asked.

"It is a debt and you have to accept my payment once my business have already recovered from this crisis," Daniel said and we four smiled at each other.

"It's a deal Mr. Black," Johan said and they shook hands.

"By the way, I'm hoping that you will be able to moved on from your ex soon. You may not be able to forget her but at least feel no pain anymore that your relationship has ended and you are not really for each other," I said.

"I'm already moving on. There's a lot of woman in this world, if it is God's will, I will surely find a woman that I will love and will love me back wholeheartedly someday," Daniel said.

"That's great to hear," I replied.

"Oh, you guys maybe thinking that my business was going bad now because of my break up. Yes, I get a little depressed when my ex rejected my wedding proposal and even ended our relationship but it has nothing to do with my business. This is my main restaurant but I already have my first branch just a few months passed. I let my ex become the manager in that branch but I never expected that she is thief. In short, she already took a large amount of money from my business before she broke up with me," Daniel explained.

"Really? That's terrible," I said. "I guess it is too painful for you. Luckily, you're such a strong man," I added.

"I'm only thinking positively and looking at the bright side of life. I'm used to be alone, bullied and hurt by others since young and I'm almost numb because of it. Yet, I'm still a man who have emotions and got hurt too. But, it is God's will and I accepted it. Something better like your offer happened and someone I deserve will come too, sooner or later," Daniel said.

"I really admire your personality. You're not only very kind but also one of a kind person in this World," I replied.

"Thanks Miss Velora." Daniel replied. "I guess we have to celebrate this new friendships?" He asked and I, Johan and Jonas looked at each other. I looked at my phone and it's almost 4:00 pm already. If we go back now, we will reach home at 6:00 pm but it's not sure because this is rush hours and there's a long traffic at this time. Sophie would be very upset if we can't come before the party starts.

"Maybe next time, Mr. Black. We will make a perfect date to celebrate our friendship," Johan said.

"Alright, that would be fun," Daniel replied.

"I guess the business talk has ended. Mr. Black, can I have a private talk with you?" I asked.

'"Sure!" Daniel replied. He is such a very kind and genuine man. Hopefully I can get back my Magical Ring from him.

"Gentlemen, can you leave us please?" I asked Johan and Jonas to leave. The Ring was lost between me and Daniel, the twins have nothing to do with it anyone. It will only cause curiosity to Mr. Black if he knows that the twins are interested to get back the ring too.

"Of course. Take your time Glady but don't forget that we still have a very important party tonight. We will wait for you in the car," Johan said and kissed my cheeks. "Make sure to take it back from him in any ways," he whispered on my ear.

"Mr. Black, you're so kind. It's nice to meet you," Johan said and give a hand to Daniel. "It's nice to meet you too." Daniel stood up and shook hands with Johan.

"We'll go ahead," Jonas said and he shook hands with Daniel too.

"Bye," Daniel said.

"So, what are we talking about?" Daniel asked.
