The Magical Ring

My Saturday

Ofcourse, I can't do cruelty even I'm maltreated. My father used to treat me like an animal and even a robot, he never cared about my feelings. He is so cruel to me. He hurts me physically and emotionally but I never thought of hurting him back.

I went home and do my night routine. Then, I lay down on my bed. In school, a lot bullied me for being poor and weak but I know that they are just jealous. I always got the highest grades, the teachers loves me, the boys wanted my simplicity and strong principles that's why I got a lot of haters, specially girls. I don't care even they are blocking my way and intentionally bumped me, throw things on me, slap and make gossips about me. I'm trying hard to get away from Johan and Jonas too. I don't want any troubles but troubles seems like to be following me.

There's always troubles inside and outside the school that I really can't avoid. The only difference is, I can fight if I'm outside the school's premises while I can't when I'm inside because I don't want to ruin my records and lose my scholarship.

Two months later, I'm already used to my new life. Atleast, those who bullied me now are other people and not father anymore. It's weekend and I'm just here in my boarding house sitting in my bed and scrolling my cellphone.

"Kring, kring, kring!" someone's calling on my phone. It's Johan and I don't know if I'm going to answer it or not. Later on, I decided to answer the call.

"Hello?" I said right after accepting the call.

"Hello, Glady. How are you?" Johan asked in a serious tone.

"I'm fine," I replied. "How about you?" I asked and went to the kitchen.

"Not so. Can we meet today?" he asked. "Please," he pleaded.

"Why? Is there something wrong?" I asked and sat on the dinning chair.

"There's nothing wrong," he replied. "I already have information about the man who took the Magical Ring," he said. "Can we please meet? I know that you are avoiding me because I only bring troubles to you in school. I'm so sorry for that. Don't worry, I will make sure that no one from the school knows that we meet. Besides, I have someone to introduce to you," Johan said.

"Alright, alright. Where are we going to meet?" I asked.

"3:00 pm in the afternoon, I will pick-you-up in your boarding house," Johan said.

"Alright. I'll wait for you here. Bye!" I replied and end up the call.

I thought he already forgot about the ring because of being busy in school. Well, I'm curious if it's really true that the ring had a magic too. But, if ever everything is true, it will be another chapter of my life with the Magical Ring. Yet, no matter what is the truth that I will be facing soon, it's still up to me if I will take the responsibility of being the Cult's Leader that Johan is talking about.

"Kring! Kring! Kring!" Sophie is calling while I'm eating my lunch.

"Hello!" I said and turned on the loud speaker. Then, I put my cellphone on the table.

"Hey, Miss Gladilaine Velora," Sophie said from the other line. "Are you busy? I'm so bored at home. Can you please accompany me, we'll go shopping," she directly said.

"I'm so sorry Sophie. I have to meet someone this afternoon too. Besides, I don't have money to go shopping with you," I said while putting a rice and fried fish on my spoon.

"Who is it? Is it really important?" Sophie asked in a sad tone.

"Okay, it's Johan. We have something important to talk about and he said that he is going to introduce me to someone," I tell the truth to Sophie.

"Ohh!" She exclaimed. "Really? He is going to introduce you to his parents? That's so sweet sis. Ahhhh! I'm so excited!" Sophie hoity-toity said.

"You misunderstood it sis. We are just friends and it's not like what you are thinking about," I immediately said.

"Come on sis. I know that you like Johan too that's why you can't fully get away from him. Don't worry, I'll support you as long as you'll help with Jonas too," She happily said from the other line. "HAHAHA! Joke, but if you'll do me a favor to get closer to Jonas, that would be very nice sissy," she added.

"That's enough Sophie. I'm really sorry, I can't accompany you today," I sadly said.

"It's alright as long as you will tell me everything that is going to happen with you and Johan today. I'm so excited, I'm really a fan of Joha-Laine, hehe," Sophie said.

"What Joha-Laine?" I curiously asked.

"Ofcourse, Johan and Gladilaine," Sophie replied.

"You're really full of silliness," I said and laughed. "Haha, I have to wash my dishes now. Bye!" I said.

"HAHA!" she laughed. "Bye, don't forget to give me updates later. Hehe!" she said and I just smiled. I end up the call and clean the kitchen. Then, I took a bath and prepare myself to meet Johan later.

"Eeng! Eeng! Eeng!" My phone rings, haha. I received a text message on my phone. I'm in the front of the mirror at my room now. I wear a white crop top with a printed word, "I'm gorgeous", and a high waist black jeans. Not to boast but what is printed on my crop top is absolutely right. HAHA!

I opened my inbox and found a message from Johan. "I'm already outside your house, I don't want to go out of the car anymore to prevent anyone from seeing us together. I'll wait for you here. Just take your time, mi amor." Tss, what did he say? Mi amor? So cheesy. I get my sling bag and directly went out of the house. I've seen the car of Johan and I immediately walked toward it. I went inside the back seat and closed the door. I looked at Johan, he is looking on me too.

"Stop staring. Where are we going now?" I asked and looked outside the window.

"You are truly gorgeous," he said and started the engine.

"Thanks!" I briefly replied while still looking outside the window to avoid looking on him.

"You will know where are we going later," Johan said and he started to drive the car. I didn't speak too much while we are riding. If he ask and ask, I just tell him to focus on driving.
