The Magical Ring

Meeting with Daniel

"What if what?" Johan asked.

"Nothing. Just don't mind about it," I replied. I really don't want Johan to get upset of me.

We reached home safely and told Colin everything. She agreed and said that she will do everything so that I and the twins can meet Daniel on Saturday. It's Wednesday now, I still have the chance to prepare myself to whatever expression and things Daniel will possibly do if he saw me. Will he get angry of me? Will he let us give him some money to help his business rise again? Did he still have the ring or he throw it right after his girlfriend broke up with him? How I wished that everything will be fine.

Mr. Daniel Black agreed to meet with us in his own restaurant on Saturday at exactly 3:00 pm in the afternoon. And now, the day I've been waiting for has come. I, Johan and Jonas left home at exactly 1:00 pm because the restaurant of Daniel is in the other City, it is too far. We've travel from almost one and forty five minutes before we arrived the restaurant.

"We are fifteen minutes earlier," Johan said beside me, he is in the drivers seat while Jonas is in the back seat. "Are you alright, Glady?" he asked.

"Yeah, I just hope that he is not angry with me," I replied.

Johan want to give the help to Mr. Daniel Black and right after he agreed, that's the time that they will introduce me to him. Then, we can discuss the matter about getting back the Magical Ring.

But Jonas didn't agreed with Johan's plan. He thought that Mr. Black will think that we are blackmailing him. Our first purpose is to get the Magical Ring, we have to be straightforward and accept whatever Daniel's answer. Besides, if he won't give back the Ring, we can accused him for robbery because he didn't asked my permission to get it.

I agreed with Jonas and the plan was made. Then, we went out of the car.

I'm wearing a blue body fit short dress now, blue high heels and shades. I'm holding my small hand bag on my left hand. Johan is wearing a grey formal suit while Jonas is wearing a black one. The are both handsome and very attractive. Johan give his right hand for me to hold, like we are having a JS Prom walk. Jonas was in our back. We entered the restaurant and took a seat while Johan is calling Daniel's phone.

"Hello, Mr. Daniel," Johan said when Daniel answered his call. He is wearing a wireless headset that's why I can't hear what Daniel is speaking from the other line.

"We're already in your restaurant, it's so beautiful here," Johan said. "Where are you now?" he asked.

"Don't worry, it's alright. We will wait for you here," Johan said again.

"Take your time Mr. Black. Bye," Johan said and he end up the call.

"He is in his office at the back. He will be there soon," Johan told us.

"Hello ma'am, sir. May I get your order?" the waitress said right after she came. They have a lot of customers now and I can see that only 3 waitresses are here.

"We are waiting for Mr. Daniel Black," Jonas said.

"Oh!" the waitress exclaimed. "Are you Mr. Johan and Mr. Jonas Villa Franca?" she asked.

"Yes, we are," Johan replied.

"I'm sorry if I'm not able to recognize you sir," She apologized. "Mr. Black reserved a table for you there inside the party and event room, please follow me," she said and lead the way for us.

We followed her and she brought us into the event room, she opened the door and let us enter first. Then, she went to the well arranged 4 seater round table in the center of this room. "Please, have a seat sir, ma'am," she offered us and we sat down.

"Thank you," I said to her and she just smiled to me.

"It's my duty to served you well. Please call me if you need anything else. I'll take my leave now," the waitress said and make her way out.

There's a plate of cookies in the table and a glass of water. "I'm sorry, I'm late," the man said right after he entered the door. He closed it again and come into our table. I guess, he is Daniel Black and my hand is shaking now. I feel a little bit nervous and ashamed of him because I caused him a big mess.

"I'm Daniel Black," he introduced himself and Johan, Jonas and I immediately stood up.

"I'm Johan Villa Franca," Johan said and he shook hands with Daniel. "This is my twin brother, Jonas," he introduced Jonas and the two shook hands too.

"Nice meeting you Mr. Black," Jonas said.

"Nice meeting you too, Mr. Villa Franca," Daniel replied. "You two looks exactly the same. Only your suit differs," he honestly said.

"Hahahaha!" Johan laughed. "That's what other often said to us," he said.

"It's the truth, you're an identical twins. You two were both handsome," Mr. Black said.

"Thanks!" Johan replied. "By the way, we have a special companion today. She is Miss Gladilaine Velora," Johan introduced me to Daniel and I immediately stretch my right arm to shake hands with him.

Daniel took my hand and shook hands with me. "You look familiar, Miss Velora," he said and I just smiled. I'm wearing a light make up and a fashion sun glasses now, it's normal that he won't fully recognize me.

"It's good if you could recognize me, Mr. Black," I said and let go of his hand. I took off my sunglass and smiled at him while Johan and Jonas already sat down again.

"You?" Daniel seems to be shocked while pointing his right hand's forefinger on my face.

"Let's have a seat first so that we can talk comfortably, Mr. Black," I said and sat down. Daniel sat down on the last available chair while his eyes was still on me. "I'm the one you saved from a car accident, you saved my life Mr. Black," I said and his face only turn into a very sad expression.

"How did you know and find me?" Daniel asked while looking down.

"Johan and Jonas are my friends, they helped me to find you," I replied.

"What for?" Daniel asked in an upset tone but still looking down. "Mr. Villa Franca, I thought it's about business. If you are not interested to buy my restaurant, then you all may leave now," he said and look on us seriously but I can see that his eyes is teary. He is only trying to stop his tears to flow.
