The El Tigres

"Do you think they are really following us?" I asked. "Don't worry. Nothing wrong will happen to you as long as I'm here," Denver said. "We are here in the City Park, just find a parking area now. If they still follow us, then we have to make way to escape from them," I said. Denver parked the car and went out. He opened the door for me and gave his right arm for me to hold. I held his hand and went out of the car. The black van stopped not far from us, we can't look at them straightly to pretend that you did not noticed them. "Just hold my hand and don't ever let go," Denver said and he started to walk. I followed Denver and looked back at the black van. They started to drive and parked just beside our car. We went into a crowded area, we hide in the fishball vendor's cart and watched if who will go out of the van. I was so surprised to see some armed men. They are wearing a casual clothing but I've seen two of them having a handgun on their waist when they went out of their car. For sure they all have guns and they are following me. Even the men don't have a tiger mask, I can feel that they are from the El Tigres. If I guessed right, they knew who I am and the siblings. They are just waiting for the time that we will become off guarded. Of course, they cannot just attacked us at home because it is very secured and everyone there now was an assassin. Colin already change the guards and maids when I came back except Marga. We already knew some hideouts of the El Tigres too and some of their leaders but we can't find any trace of their new Big Boss. It is said that even his cult members doesn't know him. Unluckily, Daniel was still looking for the magical ring. He said that he cannot find it anywhere and he only remember that he put it in his drawer. It's been two weeks but he still don't have any updates about the ring. I'm not sure if he really lost it or he was hiding it from me. But, what's the reason why he is hiding it? He is not the kind of man who will go back from his words. In the first place, the ring was really mine and he didn't asked permission to get it from me. "It's already getting dark. It would be hard for them to follow us later. We will leave your car there and took a taxi," I said and drag Denver to the even more crowded place. "Do you know them?" Denver asked. "I'm not sure but I guess they are really after us," I replied. I found the armed men trying to follow us. "We have to lost them," I said to Denver. "Don't worry, I will protect you," Denver said and put his hands on my shoulder. Luckily, it's rush hours and a lot of people are walking around here on the park. Most of them are employees who just got out from work in the buildings around here. "Taxi!" I immediately ran toward the taxi while holding Denver's hand. We immediately got inside and told the driver to go. "I'm so sorry. It's such a bad timing for us, we can't enjoy our dinner now," Denver said. "Who told you?" I asked while looking outside the taxi from front to back. "We already lost them, we still have a long night," I said. "Are you sure that you still want to stroll after that happened?" Denver asked. "Haha!" I laughed. "I enjoyed running away from them," I said and chuckled. "Remember when we are young?" I asked. "I am often bullied and we often ran away from other children," Denver laughed when I said this. "Yeah, I remember it clearly. Haha, troubles are really following you since ever. I'm happy that you're treating it as a game now and even enjoyed it," Denver said. "Even if it's just for three days, it seems like a lot of years for me because I never have any good memories since then. I only have good memories when I left home and gone to college, when I know some friends like the siblings and Sophie. But, for 12 years? I never had any friends nor happy moments with my family because of dad's treatment on me. I never felt that I had any family when grandma died too," I said. "Enough for sad things," he replied. "By the way, who do you think those guys were?" Denver asked. "They don't have masks but I guess they are from the Cult of El Tigres," I said. "El Tigres? Isn't it a legendary Evil Cult?" he asked. "How did you know it?" I asked. "The books about it wasn't for sale and only the Hullah Cult and El Tigres Cult knows it," I said. "I found a book about it last time in the things of my dad. I thought it's just a normal book. It's interesting that I even read that very thick book. I remember that it's the war between Hullah Cult and El Tigres Cult," Denver said. "Am I right?" He asked. "Yeah," I shortly replied. I can't believe that his father have that book. It means that he is one of the descendant of Hullah cult or it's possible that he is from El Tigres Cult too. "You know, it was long ago. But I keep my father's things at home. I mean, on the rest house. You know, it's my home and not in house of Sophie's Family," Denver said. "Me and my parents once stayed there, we are very happy. But now, it's only a rest house of my mother's new family," he said. "Alright, maybe it's good if I visit your home sometimes," I said because if I can go there, I might find something new about him and the cults. "That would be great. It's near in a beach, it's very peaceful there too," Denver said and I just smiled at him. "By the way, you said that only El Tigres and is it Hullah?" he asked and I nodded. "Only them knows about, ah I didn't understand," he said and I laughed at him. "I just want to ask, are you one of them? Ain't you a Christian?" Denver asked.
