Making New and Happy Memories

I and Denver stayed at the rooftop for a few minutes while talking about anything we can remember. Then, we went to the canteen to have lunch.

While walking, we heard some girls gossiping about us. "Don't mind them," Denver said to me.

"I'm already used to be the content of the gossips here. It's alright now, besides those gossips will really get out either we tried to avoid each other or not," I replied.

"Just remember to call me if someone bullies you. I'll make sure to beat them even if they're a woman," Denver said.

"Hahaha!" I laughed. "We are here, what do you want to eat?" I asked him while we are going to the counter.

"Fried chicken, burger steak, rice and veggies soup," Denver said. "What about yours?" he asked. "It's my treat, don't worry," he said.

Then, I ordered. We go in one of the empty table and eat there. A lot looked at me and Denver. I really wonder why a lot knows me here like I'm dating with Johan even it's a big school.

"Twelve years had passed, I thought you already forget me. I've never expected that you remember my promises too and waited for me. I'm very happy to have such a friend like you," Denver said.

"Why don't we go out for dinner later?" I asked. "I just want to be with you. Let's make a new and beautiful memories so that we won't feel that we lost each other for twelve years anymore," I said.

"I'm supposed to say that too, we really thought the same," Denver replied. "I've known somewhere nice to eat tonight, I'll pick you up in your room after class," he said.

"Alright, I'll wait for you in my classroom," I said and smiled at him.

"You've eaten a lot, you maybe too tired of running into the rooftop lately," he said and laughed. "Haha!"

"Lol. I'm really eating this much all the time," I said.

"Surely?" he asked. "You're so slim even you eat too much," he said.

"As long as you work or exercise and jogging everyday, you will surely not get fat," I said and drank a water.

"Yeah, you are," he said. "Are you done?" he asked.

"Yeah, I'm done," I replied.

"Just tell me if you're ready and I'll send you to your classroom," Denver said and I just nodded. I looked at my phone and found 3 missed calls from Johan.

"Let's get out of here now. I'm going to call Johan," I said to Denver and make my way out of the canteen.

Johan's phone ring and he immediately answered it. "Hello!" he said.

"Hello, I found your missed calls," I said. "Is there something wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing, I just looked for you later but I've known that you are with Denver," Johan said.

"Oh, I'm sorry Johan," I apologized.

"It's alright, I'll just pick you up in your classroom later. Let's eat dinner outside, is it alright?" he asked.

"I'm sorry but I can't go with you. I already agreed to have dinner with Denver. I'm really sorry," I said.

"Alright, enjoy. Bye," he said.

"Hello?" I asked but he already turned off the call. He maybe disappointed or jealous now.

"What did he said?" Denver asked from my back.

"Nothing, I'll go to my classroom now. See you later," I said to Denver.

"Let me go with you to your room. I want to make sure that no one will hurt," he said and I just smiled.

"Let's go," I said and walk toward the second floor.

A few moments passed.

"Alright. Class Dismissed!" Our professor said and he took his things on the table. My classmates immediately gathered their things too and make their way out of the classroom.

Sophie is putting her notebook and pens on her bag. "So, you're going out with Denver?" she asked.

"Yeah, how about you? You're going home right away?" I asked.

"What can I do?" she asked. "I don't have much friends and love life like you," she said and pout.

"Hahaha!" I laughed at her. "Don't worry, sooner or later, you'll going to have a love life too. Don't be in hurry," I said. "Who knows if he is just around?" I asked.

"Lol!" she exclaimed. "Oh, let's go out now," she said and immediately make her way out of the room.

"Look who's there," Sophie said when she got out of the room. I found Denver standing in one of the corner. Then, 2 girls come to him.

"Hi, I'm Samantha. We are classmates in Physics, remember?" the girl said.

"And I'm Cathy," the other girl said.

"Yeah, I'm Denver," he said and he found me out of my room. "By the way, I'll go now. Nice meeting you," Denver said to the girl.

"Hey, wait," Samantha called him but Denver ignored her. Denver directly went toward me.

"Shall we?" he asked.

"I'll leave you now. Bye sis!" Sophie said and kissed my cheeks.

"Take care sis. Bye!" I said and she walked away first. I've seen Samantha and Cathy looks at me angrily.

"They were my classmates in some units, don't mind them," Denver said.

"Let's go little boy," I said and walked first.

We went to the parking lot and entered the car of Denver. "Where are we exactly going?" I asked.

"To the City Park, then we'll go and eat street foods," he said while smiling to me.

"Oh my gosh, I missed it," I happily replied and hold his hands. "Go and drive now, I'm so excited to eat street foods," I said and he looked into our hands.

"How can I drive if your not holding my hands?" he sarcastically asked and smiled.

"Tssssk!" I exclaimed and throw his hands to his thigh. Then I put on my seatbelt.

"You're so easy to pissed off," Denver said and started to drive.

"Am I?" I asked him.

"Yeah. Just a little joke and your pouting like a child. But, you're so cute that's why I'm gonna pissed you off often," he said and chuckled while driving.

"Don't dare do pranks on me. I'm bad when I avenge," I threatened him while looking outside the window.

"Haha!" he laughed. "I was just kidding. Of course, I'm going to make you happy not angry everyday. But, I guessed making you angry is so cute, haha." This silly boy is really trying to pissed me off.

"You're so bad," I seriously said.

"Am I bad? So you're telling me I'm bad? Did I do anything wrong? I'm a bad person? Really?" He seriously asked.

"You miss understood it. Just stop pissing me off, it's irritating," I pouted.

"I was just joking," he murmured but I heard it. "I'm a bad person with that?" he asked in a very low voice like he is talking with himself haha, he is so cute.

I hold his shoulder, "I'm sorry," I seriously said. "It's just, I'm not used with such jokes. You know, I don't have lots of friends when I was young. Once you call me or tell me something, even if it's just a joke and it really means nothing to you, sometimes it already hurts me," I explained. "But don't worry, I'll try to get along with you and control myself and feelings. Sooner, I'm sure I can catch up with your jokes and pissed you off too," I said and smiled to Denver.

"I'm sorry too," he apologize. "It's just normal, right?" he asked and I just looked at him. "We just became together again and we don't know each other's attitude much. We still have to adjust ourselves to know each other and make our friendship works," Denver said.

"Yeah. Adjust, adjust for now. Hehe," I said.

"You're my only bestfriend, I hope you can stand my moody attitude," Denver said.

"Of course, I will always try to understand you. I'll always be your bestfriend no matter what happened," I replied.

"I love you," Denver seriously said and he looked at me. We looked eye to eye even if he is driving.

"Have you seen that black van?" I immediately changed the topic. "They seems to be following us since lately," I said and Denver looked at the side mirror.

"You are right and I'm feeling bad about it," Denver said.
