Sophie's Birthday Party

"Don't worry. We will reach there in time," Johan said and hold my left hand.

A few moments later. It's already 7:05 pm when we reached Sophie's Mansion. We show our invitation cards to the guards and they let our car in. We immediately looked for Sophie and found her at the main door with some servants. She's wearing a sky blue long ball gown and she really looks like a princess.

"Guys," Sophie shouted. "I thought you are not coming anymore. I've been calling all of you but you're not answering me," she said with a very happy face.

I immediately get closer to her and kissed her cheeks. "I'll miss one half of my life if I missed your birthday party. You're the most beautiful girl tonight, Happy birthday!" I said and she hugged me.

"The party is coming, the guests are already inside. They are going to give a celebrant's entrance. You can enter right after I reached the stairs, you're so silly. You almost get late, I almost cried because you're not here," Sophie said.

"I'm here now. They are going to call you, I'll stay behind the door first," I said and immediately hide myself so that everyone inside will only see Sophie. I don't want to get any attentions from the crowd.

"Let's give a round of applause to our dear celebrant," Athe MC said on the microphone and the main door opened. "The gorgeous, kind and talented lady, Miss Sophie Salvador," the MC said while everyone is clapping there hands. Sophie started to walk inside and wave to those she knew from the crowd.

Well, their house is very large. It has third floor but we are in their party house now. It's beside their main house which I can see now. Their lot is very wide, the gardens and landscapes in front of their house are crafted very well. This party house have this very wide hall inside and a stairs going to the rooftop. Well, Sophie was supposed to be walking from the stairs but she decided to walk from the main door because she's waiting for us to come lately.

While Sophie's parents are giving some message for her, I, Johan and Jonas entered and looked for a seat.

"Where's your invitation card ma'am? It has a seat number," the servant asked me while we are looking for an empty table.

"Here!" I said and gave to her.

"Oh, you have the vip cards. You're the bestfriends of our Princess. Come with me," she said and lead the way to a circle table with four seats. "Please settle yourselves here. If you need anything else, you can call any servants here. Don't be shy," the servant said and left us.

Now, it's the birthday celebrity's turn to give a message.

"Good evening everyone. First, I would like to thank all of you for coming here and celebrate my birthday with me. To my relatives, friends and bestfriends." She look on me and the twins. "And to my family, thank you much for making this birthday celebration come true. To my Mom, thank you very much for planning this party. I love you mom. To Dad, who supported Mom. Without you, this party won't be able to be just as best like this. You are always my provider, my saviour, my protector, thank you so much dad. You are always there with Mom in times of troubles, you both are the strong shoulders I can always lean on in times that I am feeling down." She started to cry. "I'm sorry if in the past, I've been so stubborn and often caused your stress and problems. I promise to become a better child as you taught me to be, as you wanted me to be. You are my beloved parents and you two were the best. I will always treasure you. I love Mom, Dad," Sophie said and her mom and dad whom standing beside the stairs went to the second step stair where Sophie is standing. The three hug with each other and I can't stop myself from feeling jealous. She is so lucky to have a lot of relatives, friends and most of all, she lives with her mother since young and loved by her father so much.

"Excuse me, Johan, Jonas. I'll just go out, I'll be back soon," I said and immediately make my way out of the main door.

"Alright, take care," Johan said.

I sat in a bench under the lofty tree and cried. All my life, I only wanted to feel a love of a father. All my life I've been longing to see my mother and feel how much she cared and love for me too.

"Aaaaaah!" I shouted in pain. Luckily the sound of the music inside the house was very loud. I cried and cried and I really can't stop myself from shredding. It really hurts to see others who have such a happy family, such a loving father and mother while me? I never experience such thing.

I never seen my Mom. My dad hates me so much. The only one I have is my grandma but she's dead now. Having friends made me happy but it's still different if the love is from your true family.

Do you know the feeling that you never had a chance to feel the love of your mother? In my case, it really hurts. It seems like I've been stabbed by a knife directly to my heart again and again. This very sad feeling was killing me again and again everytime I remember my ill-fated life.

As of my father, do we still have a chance to get along together? If I tried to visit him now, will he accept me and offer me to comeback or throw me away again? Was he happy living without me right now? Did he ever misses me or think of me? What if I go home? Can I take the pain and accept whatever will I face when I go back to my old home again?

My eyes keeps on releasing big tears caused of pain and loneliness that I feel. Luckily, this bench was fully shaded by a lofty tree and no one can see me here. There are some guest walking in and out the party house to sniff some fresh air or have some smoke here outside. I tried to stop myself from crying but my eyes continued to pour tears.

I don't want to let the boys worry about me nor to ruin Sophie's night but I guess I can't get away from it now. My eyes maybe looks badly now, my make up was washed out by my tears too. Even I want to go back and party with Sophie, give her my gift and laugh with her tonight, I couldn't do it right now.

So, I texted them. "Sis, I'm not feeling well, it's too crowded inside. But don't worry, I'm alright. I'll just stay here outside. By the way, my gift for you was left on the table with Johan and Jonas. Enjoy your night with your crush," I said in the message. "I'll go in later if it's not too crowded anymore," I message again so that she won't look for me anymore.

"Do you need some company?" an unfamiliar guy asked me.
