The Magical Ring

The Truth

Jonas gave me his cellphone and I took it from him. "Come on, it's locked, " I said and gave it back to him. "Are you fooling me?" I asked and smirked. He took back his phone, press somethings on it and gave it back to me.

"It's something unbelievable again," I murmured while looking at the pictures in his phone.

"That's enough," Jonas said and he immediately took his phone from me.

"If what you're telling me now is the truth, I'm sorry. I'm sorry if I just left you guys and didn't wait for you to explain. I know my pain now and I understand why you keep my memories from me that time. If it's true that you, Jonas right?" I asked and he nodded. "You saved me from those bad guys, thank you so much. I'm sorry because if you are here to collet my debts on you." I'm about to say more thing but the two stopped me.

"No!" they said in chorus but in different tone. "You don't owe us anything. Thanks that you already forgave us even though you cannot remember anything with us," Johan added. "We need you," Jonas said and I caught Johan gave him a sign to stop talking. "Yeah, we need you because you are our friend. Our sister already missed you, she's very worried of you," Johan said.

"You are hiding something from me, right?" I seriously asked.

"We don't want to pressure you. If we tell you everything right now, we don't know what will be your reactions," Johan said.

"I can handle it," I replied.

"Glady, we're getting late," Sophie shouted from the other bench.

"Okay! I will live you my phone number and I'm hoping to be your friend again," I said to the two while writing my number on a piece of my notebook. "Here!" I gave it to Johan and stood up.

"Thanks! good luck to your class," Johan said and I just smiled to him. He is nice and seems so kind unlike his brother. Jonas look so cold, emotionless and seems so scary, haha. He is like a tiger that when disturbed, he will surely eat you in a whole.

"What did you talked about?" Sophie curiously asked.

"I thought you hate gossips?" I sarcastically asked and simply smiled.

"Come on sis! I'm very excited to know your stories. Are they your long lost childhood friends?" Oh my gosh Sophie, you are so irritating.

"Secret," I plainly said.

"Fine. We are not friends anymore." Sophie tried to sulk.

"This silly girl." I tickled her on her side and she laughed out loud. A lot of students look on us and Sophie pleaded on me to stop tickling her.

"I will explain it you after the class," I happily said to Sophie.

"Really?" Her voice got loud because of excitement.

"Lower your voice," I immediately said. "My life is so complicated that even me can't understand sometimes. A lot of unbelievable things happened on me. I don't know what to believe and whom to trust. I don't know what's the truth about this things that is happening on me," I said.

"You are right, it's hard to understand," Sophie said and she really seems to understand nothing from what I've said.

The days past and I got even more closer to Sophie, we already treated each other as bestfriends. She pick me from my boarding house every morning and left me home too in the afternoon not unless she have important things to do. She is so importunate and irritating sometimes but it's just the way she shows her tenderness. She is very kind, generous and ofcourse very gorgeous friend of mine. She's always protecting me from those arrogant and boastful students who bullied me because I'm just poor girl and don't have branded clothes like them.

In the other hands, Johan tried to explain everything to me. I believe that he is telling the truth except from one thing.

It's weekend, I and Johan are sitting in the bench at the park now. He invited me to stroll and have a dinner outside that's why we are here. "Hahahaha!" I laughed and laughed. "Magical Ring? Seriously? You are just joking right?" I asked Johan.

"Glady, I'm serious," Johan replied.

"Alright! Then, tell me it's power. Haha!" I laughably said. Johan immediately told me what he called the truth but it's so unbelievable for me.

"Unluckily, the ring was not on me anymore. We can't prove if you are telling the truth or not Johan," I replied while still smiling. I really don't believe that grandma's gift for me, specifically the ring had a power.

He immediately looked so worried and shock. "What?" Johan asked. "Where is it? That is very important Glady," He said and I started to get confused if he is really telling me the truth.

"When I was bumped by a car, someone helped me. He took my ring and left a money for me through the nurse. He also left a letter saying that he likes my ring that's why he took it. Well, I really need money and thought it as a blessings in disguise," I explained to Johan.

"Money? If you are with us, you don't need to worry about money. We have to take back the Magical Ring from whoever guy is that," Johan seriously said.

"Come on Johan. I don't know him," I said.

"You're so...." he didn't finished what he is about to say. "Just tell me the name of the hospital and where is it. I will investigate this things," Johan seriously replied.

"Is that how important the ring is?" I curiously asked.

"Listen and I will tell you everything about it. Well, it's up to you if you believe this for now. But, you will surely believe when we find the Magical Ring again," Johan said and told me a lot of things about the said, Magical Ring.

"Alright, I will cooperate if ever you can find the guy who took my ring without proper permissions. I will help you get it back if and only if you can find that guy," I assured Johan and he smiled to me.

"Thanks Glady. Don't worry, we can find it," he said.

I can't believe everything that is happening now but it's already happening. I've known Martial arts because of the siblings and I wonder how happy I am with them that time. I wonder what's the felling when I can't remember all the pain that my father causes.

This is what happened to me in the past few months. This is the reality even though it's a little bit impossible. It is the truth even though magic is quite unbelievable. I'm just curious of one more thing now, can we find the said Magical Ring again?
