38 THE CONFESSION Tonight will be the last of the William Anderson dramatic season at the Tivoli Theatre, the production being James Hilleck Keid’s powerful drama, “The Confession”. The chief theme of the play is the secrecy of the confessional, and the agony of mind endured by a priest, who, having heard a confession of a murderer, has to stand aside.
