Chapter6 story2

Knotting the Captive Bride Kianna~ The dungeon was a tomb of stone and almost darkness. I had lost all sense of time in the darkness. My wrists ached from the heavy iron manacles that bound me to the wall. The thin shift I had once worn lay in tatters at my feet, leaving me naked and exposed to the damp chill that seeped into my bones. My body still hummed with the cruel denial he had left me with, aching, wet, and scorching with a need I refused to acknowledge. The heavy iron door groaned open. Torchlight spilled into the cell like liquid fire. Tariq filled the doorway, his massive frame blocking out the light. He stepped inside without a word, the door banging shut behind him with dreadfulness. His golden eyes found me in the gloom, burning with a hunger that made my breath catch.
