It’s the Judgment Day:
Everyone in the courtroom were deeply concerned and had a lot on their mind. Because this is the day they uninvited.
Especially Pranav’s grandpa Aadhinath’s face was dull and his eyes were partly blurred with tears.
Except Pranav and Saanvi.
They look stable, there is no trace of any emotion.
The Judicial starts the enquiry, yes it’s the divorce case:
Are you sure about the divorce?
“Yes” Saanvi answered without any sentiment
Was he abusive to you?
No.
Do you have any pressure for this divorce?
No.
Do you looking for alimony?
No.
Do you want to give a try?
“No” answered mutually. Grandpa was stunned.
As everyone agreed on the terms of the documents submitted to the court?
Yes?
Okay.
Judicial continued and finally announced and which is the thing Pranav and Saanvi waiting for this long. Yes it’s the announcement “Divorce Granted”.
Pranav got up and looked up Saanvi in an empty expression, then he walked towards his car.
Hey buddy take a look yaar! Arjun say
Pranav paused and turned his head, Saanvi nearing him.
Is she looking for alimony? Arjun said awfully.
“Then she will suffer for it buddy”. Pranav Smirked
She came closer to him and smiled. All of a sudden she hugged him affectionately.
He was speechlessly stunned and the closeness of her made him to feel emotionally connected and he never felt such a thing before. It seems kind of strange to him but that doesn’t mean he used to like her before. He totally ignored her presence since their marriage. He resumed the times that they were together, there is nothing between them, but now his heart is racing.
Wait What?
Nope.. This is not the right feeling. Pranav admitted himself.
She whispered to him with that special hug, “Thank you for everything… Goodbye.
And then she left! She left him finally without any trace of her.
“No, no, this is not happening… bull shit.. You are not the guy who falls for a girl”, he muttered himself.
It’s impossible to discover his emotions, this is totally suffocating him and he is totally confused about her. Of course he remembers their journey, it was just he had a housemate who lived with him according to their agreement.
He never loved her, even she never showed any kind of emotions towards him. It’s totally mutual agreement which only last for only one year. She never crossed her limits, she never took advantage of their marriage, and even he gave her all the freedom and privacy. He never wanted her in his life. Each of them very well know about that either of them will forget each other after the divorce and promised to never contact each other again.
Yes, it’s all started with the damn contract marriage.
