My patrol team of trackers stood before my desk, each giving their reports. Blayne had found traces of blood within the bunker of the woman who was injured during their attempted robbery.
Duke worked with the lab technicians who were able to run the DNA within our database to find a possible match. She lived within my pack. I took her in six months ago when she asked for refuge.
She had a child with her, a little girl who needed medical attention. Her name was Cindy Campbell, a 28-year-old former rogue.
