*VANCE’S POV*
“Babe, let’s watch a movie.” Pointing the remote at the large one hundred and twenty inch television as she scrolled through and found some available movies in the living room.
“What did you have in mind?” I was in the kitchen sharing out some pistachio ice cream that she had a craving for and I was indulging in the treat with her.
“How about something scary like this, Morbius?” She shouted across the hall.
My eyebrows bunched up as I sat beside her, placing the two bowls of ice cream on the center table with the spoons stuck in them. “How is that scary?” In fact, I rarely got scared of anything.
“It is, haven’t you seen the trailer?” She defended but her point was not connecting with me at all.
