Kim’s phone rang. She pulled it from her pocket and responded. “Hi Sandi. What’s up?” Kim’s eyes grew wide as she listened, then she said “Really?” After another pause, she said, “I don’t sound excited because I’m not. This is going to get crazy.” She shook her head and then added, “We’ll be back within the hour.” “What is it?” Dean asked. Did we get something from the crime scene team?” “Nope. We got four hundred and nineteen calls from people who have seen Derek Miller between Vermont and West Texas. Oh, and one in Puerto Rico.
