The blood gushed around my head and I felt lightheaded. I took several deep breaths and excused myself in search of the bathroom. Vazar is leaving. Vazar is leaving. The chant played itself over and over in my head. I stumbled down the corridor, heaving big deep breaths in an effort not to crumple onto the soft carpet under my feet. As the staff toilets came into view, I couldn't help but break out into a full-on run. Bursting through the door, I made a beeline for the nearest cubicle and slammed the door shut behind me. In the safety of the tiny box, I released the tears that had been threatening to spill over. Desperation pored from every part of my body and I willed myself to calm down and not panic. I had to speak to Vazar but I knew it was too early to give Ms Saunders the slip. I
