AUTHOR’S POV:
When the hospital comes into Nevada's line of sight, she pulls off the road and parks her car near some bushes, lights turned off. However, a loud bang on her window startles her.
Her hand instinctively clutches her chest, her eyes widening, but she lets out a sigh of relief when she sees Justin.
"What are you doing here?" she asks as she unlocks the door and allows Justin into the car. As Justin slides into the passenger seat, his voice is filled with frustration.
“What did you expect me to do?” He takes a deep breath, attempting to calm himself, before adding that he knew where Nevada was going and had taken a cab after she abruptly ended their call.
