Black eyes glowed in the darkness and I felt my body tense up. Confusion clouded my mind. This couldn’t be real. He couldn’t be real, I had watched him die. There was no way that Scotty could be here.
We were back at the house in the woods, in that room where he had trapped me. My heart beat faster as he let out a low growl that seemed to echo through the room. Goosebumps prickled on the skin of my arms, and my mouth went dry.
This couldn’t be right. He was dead, I had watched him die.
He stepped out of the darkness and I froze. His eyes raked over me with that hungry look in them and everything in me screamed to run but I couldn’t make myself move. It was like my feet were glued to the ground.
